It boggled the Osgood family’s minds when they heard Osgood was starting up her own coffee shop in the heart of London. It was doomed to fail, they thought. The rent would be too high and there are so many coffee shops and chains in the vicinity. She’s be out of business before she even officially opened. 

But through all the scepticism of her family, through all the hardships, Osgood managed to start up her own coffee shop, and a rather successful one at that. It wasn’t like everyone would go out of their way to get coffee there, but there were enough costumers to keep her in business and even get a decent profit.

Though, if all costumers except for the blonde woman called Kate would one day just stop coming, Osgood would still manage to stay in business AND even turn a profit. It was that blonde who came in several times a day to order a coffee, and frankly, it worried Osgood.

So, with Kate’s next order came also a free advice.

“Maybe you should switch to decaf for a while, too much caffeine isn’t good for anyone.”

Hogwarts AU// Closed with science-leads

“As you all know, you’ll be going up for your N.E.W.Ts this year, and I am here to make sure that you all are prepared to ace your exams at the end of this course. My name is Professor Osgood, I’ll be your potions teacher for this year and I suppose the best way to make sure that you all pass your N.E.W.Ts with an ‘outstanding’ is to dive right back into the lessons. So, your last professor, where did he leave off?” The young professor spoke, looking out over her class of seventh years. 

It was only recently that she had gotten herself a position at Hogwarts and so far, all her students had been very kind and most compliant, especially the older students. She, herself, had taken quite the shine to the Ravenclaws, having been one herself when she was here at school. She looked at the headmistress, who just walked into her classroom. She straightened the bow tie she wore with her robes and took a deep breath. “Headmistress Stewart, mind telling me where the year seven’s have left off? They seem a bit reluctant to tell me.” She asked with a nervous chuckle.

Stranded and Found

He ran through the corridors, using the Sonic Screwdriver to follow an intangible trail. He just couldn’t resist looking into something which screamed unusual to him. It was something he could blame on his genetic makeup, picking up on something completely unusual and then investigate and try to keep people safe. It was just something he did. 

He stopped at a corner, knowing that there might be a sentry out, waiting and watching. He looked around the corner, doing his best not to be seen.

((Oi! I felt like writing a starter for the Never Let Me Go AU. If you don’t want to do it, ignore it.))

Osgood sat in her hospital bed, anxiously awaiting her first donation. Ever since she was told her purpose, she had been looking for a way to get a deferral. She’d pretended to be in love, apparently it was not convincing enough, she didn’t get the deferral, the board simply laughed even. She pretended to be asthmatic and unhealthy for the longest time, but when they threatened her with an untimely completion Osgood quickly shut up and accepted her fate. She was not good enough to be a carer and so she was just there to donate her organs to those who needed them.

She looked up when she heard footsteps heading her way, that must be her carer...

"Osgood, did you you just steal my custard?"

Osgood looked at Kate and then at the bowl… that was not her bowl! “I… I believe I have… I’m sorry. I didn’t realize. I must’ve grabbed the wrong custard.” She apologized, looking at her trifle. She had already put the custard in so offering Kate to trade would not be an option… “Ehrm, you can use my custard, I’ll notify the judges that I grabbed the wrong custard. I’m sorry Kate.”
