I avoid standing water in dishes
Like the plague breeding soup it is
I make my own 10% bleach dilution
Which I apply liberally to all surfaces
Between clean and sterile I pick sterile
Things that can’t be bleached
Get run under intolerably hot water
I try to avoid things that can’t do either
My microbiology background
Has turned my kitchen into a war zone
I try not to think about how fast bacteria evolve
