THIS SCENE. This fucking scene. I've said it, I've said it since the moment Lucifer was introduced- they are linked. Their powers are linked. Without Light, you can't measure Time or Space. Without Time or Space, Light can't be seen. And lookie here. Lucifer is about to go Supernova, and Samael's solution is to lock his heart the only way he can- with a black hole. A perfect merge of both their powers. A collapsed sun leaving a void with such strong gravity that Time stands still and Light can't escape. But since time doesn't really exist when it's not moving, he can only hold it for so long before it would destroy him too.
