But I'm going to give anyways. If you know me then you know that when I give my opinion or rant it can get pretty long so, bear with me. I've seen so many posts where people talk about how they want the Scott and Stiles make up, and most of them talk about how just Stiles should apologize, here is how I want the Sciles fight to resolve. I want BOTH Stiles and Scott to apologize because they BOTH made mistakes. I don't want this makeup to happen in one episode either, I want it to take some time because this was a pretty big fight for Scott and Stiles. The way I see it is, Scott of course wants to save everybody and protect everybody and I think he got that from his mom. Mama McCall is an amazing nurse and part of her job is saving and protecting people and we all know Scott loves his mom and looks up to her. Also I feel like he felt he couldn't protect his mom when he was a kid against his dad so I think he wants to make up for that. Another thing about Scott, I think he is scared of people leaving, like his dad and even Allison so he wants to be this perfect leader because he feels he like if he fails everybody will leave him, like his dad. But I think his biggest mistake during season 5a wasn't just trusting Theo but not trusting the people he needed to trust. Also I think he wants to save everybody that he forgets about the people in his life that he really needs to save and I love Scott's big heart and that he wants to protect everyone but he needs to realize that unfortunately he can't protect everyone and that is OK. Now I always felt like Stiles was this type of person that kept people at arms length, even Scott and Lydia. I think like Scott he is so terrified of losing people but for different reasons, as we know he watched his mom lose her mind and when she lost her mind we know that she thought Stiles was trying to kill her. That is traumatic for any kid but especially Stiles who is the type of person who harbors his guilt and never talks about what is bothering him. On top of that he has a dad who he think blames him for his mothers death, because Stiles blames his self, but then you get those off hand comments the sheriff makes, and that could hurt. Now I love the sheriff, he is one of my favorite characters and I have no doubt in my mind that he loves Stiles but Stiles is again that type of person who is scared that people don't want him and so he has to do everything possible to keep them from leaving. Like Scott he wants to protect everyone but Stiles wants to protect the people closest to him because he can't lose them. Now we saw in the beginning of season 5a that Stiles is afraid of losing Scott (though we have seen that through out the seasons) but when you're that scared of losing someone and you're afraid they are going hurt you, you hurt them first and you push them away, which I think that's why Stiles reacted like that during the fight because he was pushing Scott away because he is afraid of his fears coming true, letting down the people he loves most. A lot of people think the fight between Scott and Stiles is lazy writing and that wouldn't happen between Scott and Stiles. I agree and disagree and I disagree because I think with everything that went on this past season and seasons in the past, you break. Scott at the point when Theo told him about Stiles was just so broken and just felt like he is failing that he believed him and Stiles at this point was broken with guilt and afraid of his worst fear coming true went on the defensive. I want there to be heartfelt conversations and I want apologies from both Scott and Stiles because they both fucked up but they're both human in a crazy world, so that's going to happen.
