Update on the Starlink package I got delivered to me from the previous owner.
They finally contacted him and initially he wanted to send a family member over. That makes absolutely no sense to me cuz it isn't it going to cost money out of pocket to ship their dad his Starlink separately? This would've involved coordinating with whichever kid of his was going to pick up the package. I told the CSR that I was sick and I did not want to take a number/email and deal with coordinating that right now.
Then the Starlink rep wanted me to receive a mailing label that I could then use to drop off at a FedEx location. Um. No.
I asked the CSR if he can work with FedEx to have FedEx pick up the package and return it back to them or mail it to him. I just wanted the package sent back to Starlink so that this guy's account could be credited. Putting in this effort is annoying enough and it's something not everyone would bother to do. Even the tall one asked why I was putting effort into this.
I don't know if he had the previous owner on the other line, but they just decided to tell me to throw away the Starlink that I received and that they're working with him on getting a new one shipped to him.
I'm sure some people would have no problem with either of the potential solutions the CSR first suggested. However, this is an older white man who I suspect is entitled. I have no desire to make this process easy for him. Learn to update your basic info for receiving packages if you don't want a hassle. You have not lived in this house since January 2024.
