The smoke from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area wildfires in Northern Minnesota have cast our town in Northern Wisconsin into a haze. It smells like a campfire outside. The haze is getting thicker as the morning goes on.

It was a shocking evening at the Moose Nut Inn in beautiful northern Wisconsin. While watching a deer, an eagle crashed out of the sky into a tree. The eagle remained there like a fallen skydiver and we thought it was dead. Thankfully, the eagle regained consciousness, righted itself and after about 10 minutes flew off across the lake. You can hear the eagle crash at the very end of the video clip with the deer.
