Plastic scintillators from Eljen Technologies
Detecting the Sun’s Hidden Neutrinos Neutrinos are nearly massless particles that carry away some of the energy of high-powered events such as atomic fission or fusion inside a star. They travel through space at the speed of light and only rarely interact with most matter – they are only affected by the weak nuclear force (and gravity, although that force is even weaker). Thus, although they are produced throughout the universe and can travel with high energies, they are extremely difficult to detect. This is a photo of the Borexino neutrino detector, built beneath the ground in Italy.

Scintillator? I hardly know her.
Finally soledered up a new voltage divider for the photomultiplier tube in my Na(Tl) scintillation detector. Even managed to fit the BNC connector in the original housing! January 27, 2020
Scintillator Market Report describes using SWOT analysis i.e. Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat to the organization for an in-depth study of Scintillator Market.
Scintillator market size to maintain the average annual growth rate of 0.0168871818195 from 11450.0 million $ in 2014 to 12450.0 million $ in 2019, Market analysts believe that market size of the Scintillator will reach 14260.0 million $ by 2024.
Ce GAGG Scintillator Crystal
Ce:GAGG Scintillator Crystal— A scintillation crystals uesd for high-precision detection
The cerium doped multicomponent Gadolinium Aluminum Gallium Garnet crystals, referred as Ce:GAGG with the chemical formula of Ce:Gd3Al2Ga3O12, belong to the most important discoveries that offer excellent scintillation properties as well as having entered the scintillator market in the current decade. The effective atomic number is 54.4, and the emission spectrum peak wavelength is 520 nm. Apart from the high light yield, good energy resolution, high effective atomic number, fast scintillation response, chemical stability also ruggedness and capability of large crystal growth are very important properties for Ce:GAGG crystals as well. The linearity of response on the gamma quanta shows Ce:GAGG crystals is a promising candidate for medical imaging techniques, such as X-ray radiography, X-ray computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET). Single crystal scintillators are frequently used for scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
