really?? i think it's really nice compared to other fandoms i'm in touch with (like steven universe or homestuck) i mean, at least its way less stressful

well its DEF better than those fandoms but that dont make it Good, necessarily

I wouldn’t expect lance to take the red lion only because we’ve seen him forge such a strong bond with his lion already. He’s REALLY possessive of it. I would also like to mention that hunk, pidge, lance, and shiro all got upgrades this season (hunk’s claws, pidge’s plant beam, lance’s sonic beam, and shiro’ wings) Keith was the only one who’s lion didn’t learn a new attack. I don’t think they’d show that kind of development between the paladins and their lions only to have them change. Taking charge of the red lion also fits more in line with allura’s arc. She’s the one who told her father to stay and fight zarkon in the past when he decided to hide the lions. His hologram told her she was right and they should have stayed and fought. Now she’s taken up the fight once more and what better position to be in than in the place of her father, the last red paladin? Except this time the red paladin won’t run.
