Scits is Kasslanna’s daughter(? possibly adopted still haven’t worked it all out yet) and still lives with her to help out since Kass is getting older. Plus they enjoy each other’s company. Kaebob also lived with them for a while because she’d been raised by Kasslanna (her aunt) since she was about 12 because her mother was doing a crappy job. 

Still haven’t decided yet how Beetroot worked her way into the dynamic.
