her  voice  just  as  filled  with  melody  in  a  way  even  when  she  isn’t  humming  or  singing  .  it  will  always  be  music  to  his  ears  ,  especially  with  the  sweet  words  she  speaks  to  him  .  every  muscle  might  ache  ,  and  bruises  might  be  forming  but  he  cannot  help  the  endorphins  that  run  through  him  the  moment  she  makes  her  presence  known  and  the  way  she  strides  over  to  him.  

large  hands  lift  to  frame  her  waist  once  she’s  close  enough  ,  blues  glimpse  up  at  her  through  long  lashes  with  a  fondness  he’s  never  truly  experienced  before.  ❝    now  that  i’m  here  .  .  .  plan  on  telling  me  specifics  of  what  you  were  thinking  about  ??  ❞

“So TELL ME again why I’m at a fuckin’ corpo party?”

She’d called him rather URGENTLY saying it was something about an important job, but GOD did he detest corpo parties. These things were so full of shit he swore BATHROOMS in rail yards were cleaner. When he approaches, arms cross over his chest as he cants his head to the side.

“You said this was some sorta big payout job, what the hell’re we doin’ at some ASSHOLE’S mansion in the fuckin North Oak hills for cryin’ out loud. I didn’t sign up to go ‘round kissin rat bastard corpo ass.”

He’s certain she’s got a point because the MORE he talks the more she seems to smiling at him like he’s the biggest jackass on the planet.

the sudden voice makes him flinch, letting out an audible gasp as he turns to see just who was making such remarks.
