“I hate this time of year” said Dylan. He knew it made him sound like a grinch, but he didn’t care. “If I get one more helicopter parent demanding antibiotics because her kid has the sniffles, I’m going to tear my hair out. And my hair is far too good to suffer that fate.” Never mind that over-prescribing of antibiotics were the cause of all sorts of nasty diseases; they were totally useless against viruses like the common cold.

Rhiannon glanced up when she heard the bell over the top of the shop’s door chime. Smiling, she approached the person who had just walked through the door. “Is there something I can help you find?” she said. The record shop had music from pretty much every genre known to man. “Or are you just browsing?” Maybe she could recommend something. One of her favorite parts of her job was getting to introduce people to new music.
