Conrad Anker @conrad_anker running a solo lap on Genesis I at the end of the day. For the last 7 years, Conrad has been generously donating his time to support veterans’ groups in the outdoors. In 2016, through the generous support of Liberty Mountain, Grivel, Beal ropes and Outdoor Designs, I was able to join this great program, introducing U.S. Military veterans to outdoor activities through the Sierra Club Military Outdoors Program @militaryoutdoors. For a full week, this group of veterans camped in in the snowy woods of Hyalite Canyon above Bozeman, Montana. The focus of this trip was ice climbing. Hyalite is home to one of the largest concentrations of waterfall ice in the US. Partnering with Montana Alpine Guides @montanaalpineguides participants learned the basics of ice and alpine climbing then spent the evenings bonding over their shared military experience. This experience is available free of charge to U.S. Military veterans and family members. Mo: ...Back when I was just a kid, there was a puppet shop owned by a famous puppeteer. Frenchy n' Marcos were th' iconic puppets used by 'im. One day 'e just...disappeared. No one know's where 'e went or what happened to 'im. It was a mystery that stumped the local inspector.

The puppeteer said once that if y' put enough of your time and whatever into your art, it'll gain a spirit o' it's own. I'll let you think about that.
