Scolie des jardins (Megascolia maculata).
So tomorrow I am going to the Gambia on a school trip. It's certainly a once in lifetime opportunity and I am very excited :) We'll be visiting schools and villages and giving out pens and pencils and other learning supplies. Going to markets and buying local woodwork and other various things.
Anyway, I'm going to be gone a week and Eva will be (hopefully) filling my queue for me so be very very nice to her please. It's Christmas after all!
I hope you have a fabulous week and have fun buying all those presents for all those wonderful people :)
scolie replied to your post “You put your Santa's hat on :)!”

Getting a new cat today! His name is... SANDOKAN. The name is most widely known for being the one given to a Fictional Malaysian Pirate. P.s. Apparently he is handbag sized and not a kitten. Hope I don't squash him

1. What was the best present you've ever gotten?
The best present I have ever gotten was a book of the screenplays for Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. It was bought from in a bookshop in Paris, and given to me by the best person on this earth.
2. Can you play any musical instrument?
I can play piano a little and I am grade 2 but I've been focusing on the music I've wanted to play more recently.
3. What is the one dream you remember the best?
I was part of this mushy pea eating contest and Emma Stone was one of my competitors. I'm not sure who won, but I took her home and we played on our trampoline for a while. That was a really fun dream.
4. What are the three words that describe your personality?
Romantic, in love, timid.
5. What are you most afraid of?
The thing I am most afraid of, and most looking forward to at the same time, is growing up and becoming independent.
6. Are you a morning person?
No.
7. Is there something you would do differently today?
Today? I would probably have slept for longer and eaten more.
8. Do you believe in second chances?
Definitely, because I have needed more second chances than anyone so I would gladly give them (depending on the situation though)
9. Do you think you are similar to your favourite movie/book character?
I would say probably not. Ethan Hawke playing Jesse in Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight is my favourite character. In someways I can see myself wanting to be like him, he has confidence, he is a writer and intelligent, and he has Celine at his side. But I don't think I could ever possess his qualities.
10. What is your favourite place to be when you are sad?
I haven't been this way in a long time, but my favourite place to be is outside looking up at the stars. Just, fading away.
11. If you would be an animal, what would you be?
I would be a cat. It sounds boring, but the attention I would get all the time would be bliss. All the strokes and all the sleep I could ever want.
