There's something so funny to me about the fact that when they made the Star Wars sequel trilogy they said it took place 30 years after the battle of Endor and then realized the implications of Ben Solo being 29-30 years old. Then they wrote a bunch of tie-in material explaining how Han and Leia dated for a bit, got engaged, got married, and went on their honeymoon all before Ben Solo was conceived, in less than a year, lest anyone think they had pre-marital sex at the Ewok village celebration.

Meanwhile it's canon that Scrappy-Doo is a bastard. Out of all of Scooby's siblings they made his only sister the parent Scrappy inherited the "Doo" surname from. They showed her giving birth to Scrappy with no father in sight or even mentioned. Ruby-Doo was an unwed single parent in the 70s on a Saturday morning cartoon. Scrappy's biological father could be a boyfriend who left Ruby to raise their son on her own, or even a one-night-stand who doesn't even know he has a son.
