I'm looking for a cute slice of life webcomic about an average middle aged mom, her husband, and like 2 or 3 kids, and the mom just happens to be a witch in a world where magic is known and fairly normal, but not super common. At least part of it was definitely published between 2005-2010, but likely more on one or both sides of that time. She had red hair, wore a black witches' hat, a black t-shirt and stretch pants, and fuzzy pink slippers. I remember in particular a sequence where the mom is trying to set up a magical grocery delivery, but given that magic is treated as a technology that has upsides and downsides like any other, she eventually concludes she'd rather go get them herself mundanely.
boy i never even started my liveblog for fallout 3 did i
lets get that going. my lone wanderer's name is star viridian, she's really good at fixing things and big into technology. she's enthusiastic and wants to save the world but has no goddamn idea what she's doing, ever
time for baby simulator
why are children not allowed to use stools
i love him
hey what the fuck is wrong with this woman by the way. was there an explanation i missed or is she just insane
not a fan of the cult of the overseer i have to say
oHHHHHHHH. THATS where this came from
people in fallout 3 seem so... completely and utterly in disbelief any time you show any level of kindness. everyone is so mean to me all the time the environment feels incredibly hostile by design and it's really good but also just. crushing
i love moira shes so funny
why do you want me to be so mean to him.... i love him :(
though to be fair a teenager who has never been outside of a vault before and has no idea what ghouls are/has never seen this before would be justified in being a lil freaked out
though i probably would've just assumed they were like. burn victims/got stuck in an explosion or something
which i guess they sort of are
anyway i walked into this clinic and all the unconscious patients were standing like this. still fully unresponsive. i dont like it at all
i love this kid. i think of "dumb Fuckin' Ants" every single time i see a dumb fuckin ant
also i met some vampire cannibals, so that was pretty good,
from all i can tell they're not like. Actually Vampires as in actual supernatural beings or humans altered by FEV or something they're just. a cult that likes to drink blood. i dont know what bethesda's deal with cannibalism as an all-encompassing insatiable desire is. this has come up in way too many games for it to be coincidental at this point. why are there so many cannibal cults, bethesda,
interesting too that they specifically Only drink blood and still see eating human flesh as "unclean" when like. i dont have a lot of wider cultural context for this but i know biblically drinking blood specifically is a big taboo. not that cannibalism isn't also but i mean there's specific rules against drinking animal blood even
i dont know what to say about it i just think it's interesting. i was going to comment that im not sure why drinking human blood seems less bad to me than eating human flesh but then i realized the reason is "you can drink blood without actually hurting someone but you can't eat flesh without killing and/or hurting someone significantly" so
anyway i worked out a deal where the locals donate blood to them in exchange for protection and everyone seems remarkably cool with it. i didn't expect a civil solution here. i also don't know what to do with the morality here either because like. they're still drinking human blood regularly. however. they're no longer killing people about it. the locals were for some reason ok with donating blood for them. everyone seems to be satisfied with the arrangement and nobody's getting murdered. so like. i. guess that's fine, then,
someone made a little house....
why is that sign SO clean. perfectly pristine. whats going on there did the dirt texture layer not load or something
i had no idea the railroad went this far back i thought it was just a fallout 4 thing
though i guess it makes sense people in the mojave probably wouldn't be aware of it since the institute is in the commonwealth
i dont remember where i got this but if you drop "paradise lost" it's actually "lying congressional style" and i dont know what that means
uh huh. so you're definitely a cult, right
ah. yep. it's cannibals again. why is it always cannibals
