i was trying to get to sleep last night when i became seized by a strong desire to determine which sharks devil's minion would be, if they were sharks. kind of thing that happens sometimes.

armand was easy, he's a small-spotted catshark. they have enormous boba eyes and teeny-tiny teeth. look at this thing.

daniel, i think, is a scoophead. geddit? but a hammerhead species is well-suited, i feel, as the cephalofoil – the 'hammer' – gives them superior vision and depth perception.

#sharktober Day 8 - Scoophead. They are a little-known species of smaller hammerhead shark that inhabit tropical waters, where it can be found in shallow, inshore habitats. They coexist with another two species of small hammerheads and are viviparous. The scoophead is caught commercially and sold as fresh fish or turned into fishmeal. They have been declared as Critically Endangered by the IUCN.
