Scordia - il paese delle arance
Il copione è pronto, abbiamo ancora qualche incertezza sul titolo (siamo indecisi tra “I segreti di Scordia” o “Il Templare di Scordia”) ed aspettiamo i finanziamenti per partire con le prime riprese. Il film inizia con un matrimonio nella chiesa di San Rocco nel centro di Scordia con gli sposi sulla scalinata circondati da amici e parenti. Campo lungo per far vedere tutti gli invitati poi primo piano americano sugli sposi, mentre lui sta per baciare la sposa (una nota ricercatrice della National Gallery esperta nei vangeli apocrifi). D’improvviso un colpo di fucile: lo sposo e la sposa cadono colpiti da un'unica pallottola. Grida, confusione, primo piano sulla protagonista Claudia, amica della sposa che abbraccia la sposa morente mentre dice “ iddu fu…” e aggiunge qualcosa che solo Claudia sente. Da questo punto tutto un susseguirsi di situazioni d’azione pura: si inizia con il tentativo di strangolare Claudia durante la festa di San Giuseppe con i cavalli bardati e salvata all’ultimo minuto dal maresciallo Barillà, l’ inseguimento di Claudia di notte per le strade di Scordia da un uomo vestito come gli incappucciati delle congregazioni religiose della città, armato di una affilatissima Katana, la lotta sul tetto della chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore del maresciallo contro uno strano frate che cerca di far cadere dal tetto il maresciallo a colpi di il Kung Fu, la scoperta di un misterioso cofanetto intarsiato in oro e avorio nel Palazzo Branciforte contenente un manoscritto cifrato di un cavaliere templare in cui si parla del luogo dove è nascosto il misterioso vangelo di Pietro che avrebbe potuto cambiare la visione della cristianità, l’inseguimento di Claudia e di Barillà in un grande aranceto da parte di un elicottero da cui partono colpi di kalashnikov , la risoluzione dell’enigma nel Palazzo Modica in cui si scoprirà l’insospettabile colpevole con un finale a sorpresa. Come protagonista maschile nella parte del maresciallo Barillà stiamo pensando a Kim Rossi Stuart, per la parte di Claudia l’attrice Nicole Grimaudo sta già leggendo il copione. Sarà di sicuro un successo.
