Draco Malfoy stood waiting for the train to roll into the station for the winter holidays. He wasn’t on the train this time, no, his son was. It was his forth year at Hogwarts and Mr. Malfoy couldn’t be prouder. A smile rested on his lips as he looked around at the other parents, all dressed in gloves and hats and coats eargerly waiting for their children who they had only written to, for the entire year.
The train’s horn sounded as it rolled up and Malfoy stood where he was, watching the children lean out the windows. It was bitter-sweet really, his father had never bothered to pick him up at the station. He picked one of the faces, the one with the same hair as he had, lean out the window, not waving about as much as the other kids but still looking pleasantly happy to notice his father waiting like usual. As the children ran off the train, Draco now waited patiently for his son to make his way to him, planning to embrace him in a tight hug. Yes, he was a Malfoy but that didnt mean he would never show emotion, not anymore.
