The 12 days of fluffmas, day 8 - making ornaments with Scorpia

Pairing: Scorpia x gender neutral reader (can be read as either platonic or romantic)

Scorpia was helping you put up some ornaments on your shared tree when she noticed how a few of them looked slightly different

It was clear that they weren’t store bought, judging from the stickers and marker scribbles on them

She curiously asked where they came from, having never seen any ornament like them before as all the ones she had were given to her by her moms, passed down from generation to generation

You told her they had been handmade by you when you were younger, and you kept them for so long because they had sentimental value

Her eyes lit up at the explanation before excitedly asking if you would teach her how to make some like the ones you had

Naturally, you said yes, causing her to squeal loudly and lift you up into a nearly bone crushing hug

You got out the materials you needed and made one of your own first to show her how to do it before handing her the stuff so she could make some of her own

Scorpia was so thrilled, she accidentally spilled the glue and tore up the paper before she could even begin

She sheepishly apologized for making a mess, to which you giggled in reply, telling her not to worry about it

After settling down some (and getting new materials) Scorpia was finally able to accomplish her goal of making a few of her own ornaments, with your help of course

It was very obvious they were handmade, but that didn’t matter to either of you

You ended up hanging them side by side on the tree, front and center, so you’d be able to think of each other everytime you looked at it

After Scorpia joined the Rebellion, Glimmer asked you to make some sweets for her to try. In the Horde there weren't many accessible sweets, and Glimmer thought it would be able to make Scorpia feel more comfortable. And that's how you two met.

Scorpia already wanted to meet you when she saw your beautiful creations, and the desire to do so only grew after tasting them for the first time. She asked to meet you and followed Glimmer to the kitchen.

S - Hi! You're the magician who made the cupcakes, right?

You - Yes, it's me.

S - I just wanted to say thank you, they're wonderful! By the way, my name is Scorpia.

That was the start of a beautiful friendship. She was curious about almost everything: how do you come up with new recipes, why did you choose this job, etc. And she was happy that not only you answered, but didn't find it bothersome. She's a little wary of it after Horde but glad you help her feel better.

As time went on she started developing feelings for you. It started small with her thinking how nice you are, and then with little blushes when you laugh.

She decided to confess when you two were eating the cookies you made together. Hers were a little messier, but this just added the charm to them. You were talking about anything and everything when she said that there's something you need to know.

After you said yes, she was so excited she started waging her tail. Congrats, you excited her! That's how your beautiful relationship began.

Some dates would include you showing her new recipes or letting her be the first person to taste her creations. She always tries to be honest and tells you if she has any ideas. If you do something she suggested (such as a bew type of cake) she will be happy and touched.

Notes: Aaaaah, I love her so much💕 It started of as me wanting to write hcs, but turned to half imagine, half scenario. I have no idea what I'm doing but here it is😊
