Porridge is a metaphor for life.... It depends how you make it...and how you eat it. So..I make it with half milk half water and salt. Strong flavour - not too thin and gruel like if made only with water, and not too sticky - when made with only milk. And it needs salt to leven it, otherwise no contrast so it is too bland. But when it's formed...I like double cream, fruit, nuts, sugar and whisky as adornments... Life is for living, to enjoy and experience, to indulge, and to be generous...to ones self and to others.
