Hii, could I ask what Marcel would think of or how he'd interact with my oc Scott or Emily?

Hi! I hope I got your ocs’ personalities right! You gave them interesting traits :)

Sorry if it’s not too in-depth, but realistically Marcel won’t interact with them that much since they're pretty different, and Scott is a greaser, so instant dislike there

Emily

They probably avoid each other, since Marcel is an ass most days, the complete opposite of Emily. Though it helps that he doesn’t have prejudices against her like he would if she were a nerd, or jock. She on the other hand seems to dislike preps in general, so I’m not sure whether either of them would willingly approach the other under normal conditions.

But since Marcel's sister is a cheerleader and Emily tries to befriend them, this is the likeliest circumstance that they’d interact. Sofia often asks Marcel to do dirty work for her and he enjoys annoying her. Emily might be there to witness the scene and they’d officially meet. Emily will definitely get a bad first impression of Marcel (rip).

Marcel does admire her style, though. He’s not a big fan of piercings, but tattoos are cool in his book and there’s a good chance he’d ask her where she got them.

Emily isn’t confident enough to approach the townies herself, while Marcel meets them fairly regularly. Maybe one day she asks him to introduce her to them? This has to be a last resort, I doubt Marcel is the first person she’d ask a favor like this. But if she does, hypothetically, Marcel will agree to it. For a fee, of course. Emily's style is similar to the townies, so he tries to reassure her that they’ll “maybe like you” in his awkward, blunt way. It doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence, but he does his best to introduce her in a good light to the townies.

Through this connection to the townies, they could run into each other once in a while around Blue Skies. But I doubt it’ll go further than small talk, yk?

The greaser-prep rivalry instantly means they’ll be enemies, but since Scott is less intense about it, they won’t end up brawling like Marcel does with the other greasers almost daily

When Marcel sees his fellow preps getting Scott to eat dog food, he’s initially speechless. He doesn’t know Scott has Pica, or what it is, so he just assumes the kid is desperate for money. Marcel is the same in that regard, but even he wouldn’t subject himself to something so humiliating. He immediately classifies Scott as one of the weird kids he’ll make sure to avoid.

If he sees Scott eating paper around campus or during classes, he’ll be even more weirded out and outright ask him why the hell he does it. Whatever answer he receives, he’ll just have the most confused expression on his face, he just doesn’t understand

He’s not as mean as the other preps, meaning he'd never get him to eat something inedible. Not to mention he'd never waste money like that in the first place. If the preps ever pull this again, he might even call them out, saying it’s messed up even for their standards.

Usually, he just calls him generic insults that apply to all the greasers, but on particularly bad days he'll also mock his disorder (because he's a teenage boy so ofc 💀)

SCOTT MY BELOVED. He looks, I say lovingly, like a doofus and I love him. Any character with sideburns gets an immediate thumbs up and an aggressive YEAAAAH BOYYYYYY from me. Decent relationship with Townies and 100% with Greasers is a win, they might be acquaintances or hang out together sometimes.

There’s something about his naiveté that Julia digs, like he’s pure from the manipulative and underhanded culture of Bullworth. She doesn’t make him eat anything or do anything he doesn’t want, knowing that people do that to him a lot; she gets no pleasure from doing that after all. She also gets no pleasure from tripping him or anything, even if watching him fall can be kinda funny sometimes. Because of that last bit though, she doesn’t go on any adventures or mischief with him, just shoots the shit with him if they hang out. She treats him with respect since he's earned it, and his antics are -- admittedly -- rather entertaining to watch. That guy can do anything he wants and that's power that Julia respects.

Just... stay away from her journals, Scott or she will KILL YOU.

RANDOM INFO

- Scott has undiagnosed PICA, meaning he craves or ends up consuming objects that normally aren't intended to be consumed. He isn't aware his behaviour is abnormal.

- Scott is Irish but his parents and him moved to Bullworth when he was 10 for reasons.

- The poor sap is very naive. He gets manipulated a lot by other students (such as the preppies or bullies) into consuming more dangerous or weird things. He gets treated almost like a dog.

- He's barred from borrowing paper from staff unless it's necessary since he ends up eating it. He sometimes pays Jimmy to get him paper.

- Scott remains an ally to Jimmy the entire game if Jimmy helps him out at certain points eg, getting paper for him from the faculty room or retrieving things the Preps have stolen from him.

- The reason Scott is targeted by the Preps so often is because he's too afraid to actually fight back, hes strong enough to fight back but is just too afraid to actually fight back.

- Scott would be a kissable boy(he is bisexual) but is really awkward about it since he's only had like 1 relationship ever.

- Responsible for at least half the gum under the desks. He chews it like it's the only thing keeping him alive.

- He doesn't back down from a dare or challenge. Will do practically anything as long as it sounds like one.

- One time he was dared to eat a dead bird by Norton, did it with no hesitation. Aftermath was not fun.

- His favourite 'snack' is small rocks or pebbles.

- He gets called Sideburns sometimes because of his, well, sideburns.

- He's comically clumsy but nobody can tell whether he's doing it on purpose or if he's geniunely just a clumsy person.

- He and Thatcher work at Blue Skies on the weekends.

- He, Emily and Thatcher have watched Grease together 23 times.

HIS OPINIONS ON THE OTHER CLIQUES

JOCKS - He doesn't bother with the jocks. I don't even think he's interacted with them at all. He steers clear of them out of fear. He doesn't like them and wants to avoid them as much as he can.

PREPPIES - The Clique rivalry makes him dislike them but not as much as the other greasers. One time they gave him money to eat something (it was dog food).

BULLIES - They pick on him sometimes since he's a weirdo who eats practically anything so he doesn't like them at all.

NERDS - They're pretty nice in his opinion, to his knowledge they're some of the only people who haven't mocked his eating habits so he likes them. He tries to protect them if he sees them get picked on.

TOWNIES - Somehow, Scott is actually on decent terms with the Townies. Well, not all of them but a good few. Mostly because of him working around Blue Skies on the weekends.

THATCHER - He might not interact with her much. If Maya talked to him while she was still a Nerd he would be apprehensive at first knowing shes a nerd(he doesnt like them after learning Thad broke the yardstick on Peanut's head) but he'd try to be polite. But after she's kicked out he would be easier to talk with. He's not so bright when it comes to chemistry so there's a chance he would end up asking her for help in the subject. If Maya did end up helping him he'd start being more open and nicer towards her. He could help introduce her to the other Greasers If she wants.

EMILY - Emily would be polite towards Maya, just like how she is with everyone. She might have spoken with her a few times when visiting the library while Maya was still a nerd. But they don't seem to share any interests so I'm not sure that they would interact much outside of that scenario. Although, Emily would ask about Maya's notebook out of curiosity and if she happened to see someone picking on Maya she'd try to help Maya.

SCOTT - Scott's nice towards nearly everyone, but he may try to start small talk with Maya without knowing that she dislikes it but he'll quickly stop if she informs him. He'd also be shocked to find out she doesn't like pizza (his brain can't comprehend someone who doesn't like pizza) and pester her about why she doesn't like it. But overall he'd be positive towards Maya, he just might be a little bit annoying.

TAMSIN - There's no nice way to put it, Tami would be horrible to Maya. Even if Maya isn't a Nerd anymore, Tami will still be a massive prick and target her for bullying. Trying to ruin/destroy Maya's notebook or attempting to break her glasses are only a few of the things that Tami would inflict upon her. None of their interactions would be pleasant.

BRETT - Depending on if Brett is around people he'll act differently towards Maya. If people are around he'd act like the other jocks, being rude and mocking her but when they're alone he'd end up apologising for his prior behaviour. I dont see them interacting much though since their from opposite sides of the clique hierarchy.

It's alright don't worry!

THATCHER - He's neutral towards non-cliques. As long as Ronnie doesn't give a reason for Thatcher to dislike him, he'll be civil. Though, thanks to Thatcher's utterly disgraceful English grades. He may end up getting tutored by Ronnie. He'd end up being nicer towards Ronnie after being tutored, like greeting him and actually using his name.

SCOTT - Scott is nice towards practically everyone. While he doesn't talk to many non-cliques he might say hello every so often if he saw Ronnie walk by. He wouldn't understand why Ronnie doesn't like Edna (Scott eats the canteen food like its a five star meal and hasn't a clue Edna spits in it). Scott overall would just be really nice towards Ronnie like he always is.

EMILY - Emily would enjoy talking or hanging out with Ronnie, he seems really kind in her opinion. She might get a wee bit grossed out by him picking his nose but she'd never be rude about it. If he ever wanted help about his crush she can help, she knows a lot about relationships. She'd be quite happy to be friends with Ronnie.

TAMSIN - Tami is just cruel. She finds any excuse to pick on people, especially people she considers 'weird'. She doesn't target non-cliques often but if she were to spot Ronnie he'd definitely be a target for her bullying. Even though she can't vocalise her bullying she'd find ways to try and make his life hell. She's just really horrible.

BRETT - He forgot non-cliques existed. He probably wouldn't interact with Ronnie much but depending on if he's around other jocks or not he'd either be a prick towards Ronnie or if they're alone he'd be calmer and nice.

THATCHER - At first he might have a distaste towards Vickie, he has a general dislike for people who are wealthy (his brain associates rich = preppy prick) but eventually he'd end up warming up to her. I can see them smoking together, but Thatcher might try to sneak some of Vickie's cigarettes from her instead of buying his own. If he saw her adderal he'd start questioning her about why she's taking them and how she even got them but he'd shut up about it eventually(or if Vickie told him to shut up about it) I think they could be friends but in a bit of a distant way.

SCOTT - Another girl in the clique? Awesome!. Scott would be very excited around Vickie when she first joins, it'd probably get annoying and she might have to tell him to back off but he'll even out eventually. Upon learning Vickie's family owns the restaurant down town he'd have a mountain of questions for her, like what do they serve, whats it like there, can he come see?. He doesn't have a clue what adderal is or what is does so he'd believe anything Vickie tells he about it(even if its absurd) He'd be that one annoying hyperactive friend.

EMILY - Emily is very open to be friends if Vickie wants that. She's always there if she needs anything or someone to talk to. She might visit the restaurant to talk if Vickie is fine with that. Though she doesn't understand why Vickie is friends with Lola. What kind of music does Vickie like? Maybe they have an artist they like in common.

TAMSIN - Tami doesn't bother with the greasers much unless a fight breaks out. She might occasionally see Vickie but it's quite unlikely they would interact. The most Vickie would ever get out of Tami is a grunt and a head tilt.

BRETT - He listens to his sister shit talk the greasers so he doesn't have the greatest opinions on them. He'd be a bit of an asshole towards her but he'd feel a little bad about it afterwards. If he wasn't told lies by his sister he'd be geniunely nice towards Vickie. But I don't think they'd be friends regardless of that.

NATALIE - She's a bitch towards Greasers, like she really despises them. Suspecting that Vickie is actually rich (Natalie can just sense it) she'd make comments like "Why lower yourself to hang out with the greaseballs?" Or "Your still with those bottomfeeders?". Anything to instigate a fight.

THACTHER - Despite his distain for Preppies (being a Greaser n all) he MIGHT be nicer towards Barbara considering she doesn't look down on less fortunate people. Though he won't be outright rude to her he may still make snarky remarks because of the clique rivalry. I don't think they would end up interacting a lot unless it was for something such as a project they were paired to do together or they bumped into eachother somewhere.

SCOTT - A preppy who's actually nice? He didn't know that was possible. Scott gets picked on a lot by the preppies for being one of the weaker greasers so he'd be surprised when Barbara is actually a nice person. He might not interact with her a lot because of the clique rivalry but anytime they would interact he'd be really happy and kind towards her. He'd think quite highly of her. Though he might be a little annoying since he lingers around.

EMILY - She'd really like Barbara. Even though Emily doesn't have the best opinions on the preppies, she doesn't hate them. She'd respect Barbara a lot since she stands up for people getting bullied. Emily would be willingly to help Barbara with stuff if she needed it. Their interactions would be positive, Emily might ask where Barbara got her clothes sometimes. I feel they could be good friends.

TAMSIN - Tami is just a massive bitch. She hates basically anyone who isn't a bully or townie. There's really no way I can see them having interactions without it being pure hatred. Especially since Tami enjoys ruining the Preps clothes.
