Still on our Isle of Skye theme, I took this photo a few years back. Eilean Donan Castle is probably, after Edinburgh, the most famous castle north of the border. Built in 1220, and home to the clans MacKenzie and MacRae, it sits at the meeting of three lochs, Loch Alsh which you cross to get to Skye, Loch Duich which runs south and Loch Long.
