What Iceland feels like
A liminal space. I am between two places I love, two people I love, two lives I've lived. But I'm only one person.
Today was the first time I’ve cried
openly after receiving a gift.
It wasn’t so much the gift, it was what it meant, who it was from, and the fact that I will have to spend at least two years apart from these people. These wonderful, kind, insane life changing people.
I love them so much it hurts. One bought me a Neil Gaiman record and water began leaking from my eyes.
