you know what? you spent so much time calling whitmore the threat, when you've shown time and time again that losing control of your emotions can cause entire building to burn down because your weather powers got out of control and struck the building you were in. you have no right to call him a threat. you're just as if not even more dangerous. He was speechless. All of this was too much, it was just too, damn, much. All this mental torment, all this pain, it was building up and he just didn't know what to do or say anymore. He stared at you as if you just murdered someone in front of him, speechless. He didn't have a retort. He knew how right you were, and his chest ached from it. He couldn't take it anymore, he just couldn't. It hurt too damn bad. So he shut down, not saying anything, just staring at you.
The others were probably dead by now. And he couldn't do anything. It was his fault. It was his own irresponsibility that got him here, and he couldn't do anything about it anymore. He lost his last chance.
"It's all coming back, isn't it Gabriel? Your sins, your mistakes are all on display for you to see in your head. It doesn't matter though, does it? It's too late to apologize. You'll pay one way or another."
