The first meeting between Serina and Meri took place inside Serina's botanical containment cell, under Foundation supervision. Although they didn't know each other or that they were half-sisters, they both felt a strange familiarity upon seeing each other. The environment reacted to their presence, as if something in nature recognized the bond before they did. They exchanged few words, marked by doubt and discomfort. To the observers, it wasn't a simple encounter between strangers, but the first contact between two people connected by a shared origin… one they didn't yet know.
