Some of you may remember how I mentioned that I originally wrote SCP-999?

Well, I also originally wrote SCP-469, AKA “The Many-Winged Angel”, and I just recently re-wrote the article after nearly 10 years!

god has it really been nearly 10 years...

While it’s probably my second-most popular SCP, I’ve never been too proud of the cop-out [DATA EXPUNGED] ending. At the time I simply couldn’t think of a satisfying way to end it, so I expunged the ending entirely and hoped for the best. It was initially well-received but over time, I saw more and more people complaining about the ending, and I couldn’t agree more. So I finally wrote a new ending (as well as re-writing the main body of the article) that I hope will shed a bit more light on the nature of SCP-469 while still maintaining some mystery.

I mean seriously, the Curse, the creatures, the relics, and even the people that explore its depths, EVERYTHING!!! All of this has the makings/qualifications for one of the best SCPs ever written. Yet as far as I’ve seen, not a single SCP or Tale bears any inspiration from it. I’m not saying we should rip it off, I’m just saying that we have some untapped potential with a concept like this.

Life is short for a D-Boi, in every situation. (Not like most deserved mercy anyway)

Word of advice, when you see a sleeping Angel (SCP-469), be quiet, leave it alone, and for the love of god DO NOT RING A BELL!!

Words of Wisdom: SCP Secret Laboratory is the kind of game you’re not supposed to play right, do whatever you see fit. You must strive to be the ultimate agent of chaos and ensure that no one can take the game seriously. That way, through all the weirdness and carnage everyone is having fun and the community stays positive.
