Meri doodles from before I did that fantastic art trade where I popped off with my Meri design. Anyway, I thought of her recently, and I honestly am kinda sad not more people think about how she’s a severely isolated teen girl? I made her look a little tired and messy for this reason. Lack of parental guidance, lack of company, she’s bound to look out of it.

I actually think that due to how isolated she is, she idealises SCP-7371 a lot. 7371 views her as a daughter, as she tends to do with lonely kids, but Meri sees her rarely due to containment and so is kinda left piecing together aspects of her character on her own, leading to this idealisation. Meri is like a sopping wet cat to 7371, so she takes care of her like one.

Hey Tumblr, I took my sweet fucking time with this, but here is SCP-7371’s updated ref sheet. She NEEDED that redesign. Anyway, more drawings of her new design below the cut. As well as information about her for newcomers.

Here is her article, if you wanna get straight to that instead. Some historical references to places are fictional, i.e. the convent. CW for stalking, animal violence (brief mention), medical malpractice, etc. I will make posts whenever I update her doc.

Anywho, this is SCP-7371 :) She’s a 6’7” tall doctor of a young 600+ years… She turned up around 1347 and has been wandering Earth since then. What’s to say about her? She’s been the caretaker of many a people in her lifetime and always made sure they were happy and healthy when it was time to go. In general, a very polite and nurturing person, who cares about all of God’s creatures. 7371 is a bit on the more serious and too-professional side, however, and prefers to only care about whoever she perceives to be her patient, or otherwise in need, at the moment, and really doesn’t play about making sure they’re taken well care of. Patient priority, the Hippocratic oath, rules, guidelines, all things she is pedantic about. Devout Catholic because that’s the first thing she learned in life, and when not escaping the Foundation, usually singing the choir and playing the organ for Mass, since she usually crashed in Churches when she wasn’t dwelling in someone’s home or hospital. Walking Catholicism and medicine Encyclopedia. Everything is alright with her, and she has no issues whatsoever. She is German nationality-wise but that should be okay.
