Those two are one of my OTPs.

The problem is, i'm not a fan of too huge age gaps, so i must admit, i step away from canon a little and i cheat when pairing them... I usually make Spy younger than he should be. Yeah, i know, we don't know his exact age but, how old do you think he is ? I think he probably would be, what, 37, 40 ? Maybe even older, depending on each person's opinion.

About Scout, we can have a slight idea i suppose, thanks to the Track Terrorizer's description :

Above 23 at least (unless he hung around high school on his spare time while being enrolled in a TF2 base.... Which i highly doubt).

So, yeah, in order to avoid...

That, i pretend Spy is around 30, 32 whenever i pair them.
