❛ c’mon, look ... it’s not bad, i promise. a harmless vine. but it’s really funny ! i know you’ll think so, just give it a shot, hanamaki ! you can’t deny your love for animal vines. ❜ && it’s a puppy. a tiny one, trying its best && failing. who wouldn’t find that funny ? it's really quite relatable.

Headcanon: Why Skyfire doesn't trust Starscream (PPSS)
Simply put, Skyfire can't tell the difference between Starscreams. Not literally, but emotionally.
The Starscream from his world was his partner. They were often isolated from Cybertronian civilizations, sometimes for hundreds of years, with only each other to rely on. That builds a certain kind of trust, when you have to know that your partner will watch your wings no matter what. They still fought a lot, because Starscream is Starscream, but they were close.
And then Skyfire got lost in the ice for 11 million years or so.
When Skyfire was recovered by the Decepticons, he was told how much time had passed. That's not something a guy can just casually accept, even with the evidence all around him. To Skyfire, it had only been about a year or so, and even 20 years later he still can't wrap his mind around how much he missed. He keeps expecting to just wake up one day back in his own world, with the whole war and everything else just a really bad recharge flux, even if logically he knows that's not going to happen.
Starscream was his partner, and his closest friend. However, while time stood still for Skyfire, it didn't for Starscream. Time changes people, and war changes them even further, and Starscream had moved on. Skyfire was just a guy he used to know. There was no more emotional attachment from his end, and he probably didn't even feel guilty for shooting Skyfire. That was just how he had evolved into the new world.
That one event, however, completely broke Skyfire's trust in Starscream. His partner, who was supposed to watch his back and help him stay alive, attacked him. It's not something he can just let go, even though logically he knows he should.
In his processor, Skyfire knows PPSS isn't his Starscream. However, emotionally he can't help but think of them as the same mech, which means he can't bring himself to trust PPSS. Even though PPSS has never give him a reason to doubt his integrity, Skyfire will automatically jump to the worst conclusion about his actions.
Skyfire is completely unconscious of doing this. And if he can figure it out, he will be able to rationalize and attempt to trust PPSS' judgment. At the moment, however, it's not happening.
TL;DR: Skyfire is dumb and owes Ghost an apology.
Obviously this relates to last night's fight between them. I just didn't get a chance to analyze Skyfire's behavior until after I had already went home.
Heartless Vanish wheel review
I have been skating with my roller derby league, Orlando Psycho City Derby Girls, for a year now with my run of the mill wheels that came with my skates, Boxer wheels. I made a deal with myself that once I had reached the year mark I would reward my dedication to this awesome sport with a much needed upgrade of my equipment, most importantly, my wheels. I was aware that my wheels were sub par but my line of thinking was that if I could skate relatively well on those wheels then when I bought some quality ones I would be unstoppable.
The severity of the problems I was having with my Boxer wheels was not fully apparent to me until I tried my friend’s Heartless Breaker (94a) wheels at practice. At that point it became clear to me that I had been wasting a crazy amount of energy just trying not to slide out around corners, or slip as I got up from a fall, and it didn’t have to be that way. I thought I was making myself work a little harder in my original wheels but it was drastically harder and holding me back from moving up in my skill set.
I ended up getting Heartless wheels with a full set of both the Breaker (94a) and Vanish (96a) wheels so I could do the mix and matching. For this review I am going to discuss the Vanish (96a) wheels, which is the hardest wheel Heartless makes. Although they are hard I was very happy with the amount of grip they had. I was able to get around corners fast, easy, and without any sliding, which was a great relief. I found I was able to catch up to the pack quicker after a fall because my acceleration was faster and I didn’t have to waste energy with slippage. These wheels are narrow profiled in order to give the skater more mobility on the track and I found this to be true. My cutting was better which allowed me to maneuver through the pack way easier and I connected some really awesome hits on the jammer. I can’t wait to spend more time with these wheels to unlock their full capabilities. This roller derby girl is a happy camper.
