I had a backlog of cone drills this week.  Last one for now, but if you have anything you are interested in, tell me your ideas here.

This drill is aimed at improving your ability to move laterally without turning your body in order to more quickly return to a “ready” position.  It uses the same cone setup as the lateral coverage drill from last Saturday.

Most of you who know me are also familiar with roller derby, but if you are foreign to the “Panty Pass” then this is what it is/means:

If a jammer is struggling to get out of the pack to score, wants her pivot to jam instead, or for whatever reason just wants to confuse the opposing team, she hands the star/jammer panty to her pivot. The pivot then becomes the jammer, and can score but cannot be the lead jammer.
