‘Ida and Ada’, Screatures Doll number #005
Ida has dusty pink eyes and is on the left, Ada has pale lavender eyes and is slightly smaller than her sister.
Mama told her mischievous twins to stay in their room and be quiet while the adults held a soiree downstairs. Ida, never one to obey orders readily, raided Mama’s makeup drawer to stave off the ennui. Ada went along with little objection, as usual, lest her sister pinch her into submission anyway, and even let her sister paint her face up too... she even held her tongue when Ida decided they should go out for a stroll on the wiley, windy moors.
They don’t speak of what happened to them that moonless night on the moors, but ever since their misadventure their teeth seem... sharper. Their senses are heightened. Ida’s gaze is piercing. Ada’s silence is complete. They sleep through the day. They haunt the nights. And Mama, once almost indifferent to her beautiful but strange little girls, is suddenly afraid of them...
About 29cm/11 1/2″ tall. They’ve had extensive facial and body surgery, been given new black mohair hair, eye transplants, a new outfit (not removable) including underthings, little shoes, striped stockings, tiny cameo chokers and hair bows with black flower trim. Made of vintage and modern materials including cotton lace, beads and ribbon.
Outfits stained for an antique appearance.
Art doll, designed for display only. Not a toy, nor is it suitable for children. Gently poseable. Comes with stand.

‘The Sear Sisters’, Lily and Lotus. Screatures Dolls numbers #1 and #2.
Lily wears a cap and corset, Lotus wears a tatty hat and a cincher.
A sweet-faced, melancholy pair who seldom speak and when they do their voices sound like crackling fire and autumn leaves sweeping across the pavement on a cold breeze. They’re twins but I am not sure which one is the evil one... each has a locket with a lock of her sister’s hair in it so if they get separated they will always have a part of each other close by.
About 60cm/23 1/2″ tall. Formerly vintage plastic dolls. They’ve had extensive facial surgery, been given new long ginger hair, eye transplants, new outfits (not removable) including corsetry, underthings and even little shoes made of antique, vintage and modern materials including lace, rusted buckles, glass beads, ribbon, velvet and satin.
Outfits stained for an antique appearance.
They are art dolls, designed for display only. They are not toys, nor are they suitable for children. Gently poseable. They can stand alone but it would be best to use a stand for them.
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Sold separately or together. Please message me for details.
