GUSH ABT LIGHT!!!LEMME SEE THAT GUSH!!!

I’ve actually gushed about Light Yagami before but since you ask... i’m willing to give in to another gush cause I haven’t done a gush post before in a while. 

Well where do I start?

I’ve kinda talked about Light’s intelligence before but I think I should mention it again. I love how Light is one step ahead of everyone, even if they don’t really succeed in the end - I really admire their deviousness and persistence in attaining just one single goal and honestly that takes a lot of guts tbh.

I mean can you imagine being the most WANTED INDIVIDUAL ON THE PLANET and yet have the audacity to live every day life normally and NOT GET CAUGHT FOR YEARS?

Light is just... a sly fox and I really find their cunning nature to be extremely appealing.

I also like their... um... people skills. This is a little weird but like, I’m almost jealous of Light’s ability to socialise with people WITHOUT MAKING IT AWKWARD. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?!

I know it’s Light being an actor but I can’t help but feel that Light just happens to know people a little too well. I mean I see Light as the kind of person who would take extensive Psychology and Philosophy classes. Light has this natural way of talking to people and is able to convince them with just the slightest of words.

Also Light’s charisma is just.... spell binding.

I mean the time I realised I was in love with Light it was already too late to get out of the Venus flytrap. Light has me under their spell and it’s pretty hard to escape said spell.

Lights eyes!! I find them to not only be beautiful but I also love the intensity in their expressions during a serious situation. You can tell what Lights thinking just by looking at their eyes, and honestly that a really scary thought to think about cause like- you’re never really sure what they’re thinking and knowing Light as a character - it can’t be that good.

Also Light’s red eyes are just.... gorgeous to look at I mean who wouldn’t want to stare into the eyes of justice? I mean... I certainly wouldn’t mind that... They happens to also have this suave nature and appearance to them and honestly I can’t blame anyone who dares to fall for them! They’re just soo darn dreamy and like??? Beautiful???!

Speaking of pretty, Light’s taste in fashion is like???? So amazing?! They don’t really care about what they wear as long as it’s comfortable for them. Pink shirts? Check. Suits and ties? Double check. Black turtle neck sweaters? Call me crazy but I have to say: “HOT DAMN”

LIGHT THIS IS ILLEGAL YOU CANT WEAR THAT.

But Light does anyway and I respect that.

You know if Light wasn’t a serial killer and criminal vigilante, Light would be a REALLY GOOD MODEL.

Also I have to admit that Light’s presence as a whole actually makes me feel... at ease? Safe? I’m not sure but whenever I see an image of them I feel.. safe.  I’ll admit that Light’s ideology of justice is twisted, unfair and naive. People are complex but honestly when you pull back the curtain, you realise that Light is so much more than a narcissist, they are a stressed child prodigy with nothing else to do in their life but work hard and please their parents.

That really breaks my heart. Light’s entire teenage - or even dare I say, childhood was robbed away from them because they were pushed to be at the top of the class and that really tears me apart.  All I want to do is hold them in my arms and tell them that they are perfect the way they are and that they don’t have to live up to society’s expectations and standards. I just want to tell Light that they mean everything to me, and that that everything is going to be okay.

I call Light ‘Murder Spouse’ for a reason; I see them as a significant other, I see them as a friend and I see them as close confidant and I just want them to know that they can have a moment of weakness and not feel invalid as a human being.

I just... have a lot of feelings about Light Yagami and I want them to know that they are fine the way they are 💕💕💕💕💕

i couldn’t agree more. you’ve come to the right place my friend!

1.) Jackal tends to be more on the introverted side. He’s not one to spark conversation with others unless spoken to first. It takes a bit of nudging to get him to open up a bit, but going for his competitive nature tends to work perfectly.

“Really now? I can prove you wrong in a heartbeat.”

2.) In terms of a relationship, he’s quite gentle. Everything he does is slow yet passionate, preplanned to make sure his partner is happy. Slow kisses, intense embraces… Everything to make his partner feel overwhelmed with love. His favorite thing is pet names, and has a whole slew of them for his partner. Mainly in Spanish.

“Come here, amor… Just relax a little.”

3.) Jackal fits the stereotype of stubborn and old. It takes a lot of convincing for him to do anything that he doesn’t particularly agree with. Usually he can put this aside during operations, but if it’s anything else? Good luck convincing him.

“No. The answer is no. Now can you leave me alone?”

4.) Jackal’s insomnia has its phases. Sometimes he can work through it, where he can get a bit of shut eye every so often. But other times sleep just will not come to him, and he ends up spending most of the night wandering, keeping himself busy. On the topic of his insomnia, he is convinced he’s hidden it from most of Rainbow, when it’s quite the opposite. Almost everyone is aware of it, but he still never talks about it. He’s very closed off about his personal health, since his older age already has people questioning his abilities.

“Hm? No, I assure you, I am fine.”

5.) He didn’t experience a lot of “normal” things growing up, due to his shaky upbringing. Relationships- be it romantic or platonic have always been something unknown to him. Being let into Rainbow allowed him to experience new camaraderie that he otherwise wouldn’t have known. Even when he worked as a criminal investigator, he never formed bonds outside of work relations.

“You all... mean something to me. There are few I can comfortably say that about.”

there are a few things that i can’t write a whole lot about, but i really want to share:

jackal tends to end his sentences in “hm?” with little rhyme or reason. he isn’t sure why he does it, it’s just always been a part of his diction

suffers from PTSD

his favorite genre of music is rock. usually the classics. it reminds him of his childhood- before everything went to shit

tends to have episodes of microsleep

trying to quit smoking, results are mixed

personally i headcanon him as entirely gay

works out almost daily to try and combat his aging body

hates talking in the morning when he didn't get good or any sleep

hi there! of course you can, lovely <3 thank you for requesting - i’ve always loved headcanons and i also coincidentally love jackal! so this was a treat c; 

His view of “family” is very skewed and therefore he tends to shy away during conversations where other operators share fond memories of their upbringing and personal experiences with family (maestro being the most overbearing to Jackal - and although it’s not intentional, Jackal often feels like the Italian brings up his lengthy family as a weird flex brag). He’d only really had his brother throughout his life and every other experience he’d had with his miscellaneous foster homes soured his perspective of what “family” is and means. On the rare occasions when Jackal brings up Faisal in discussions, there’s a warmth he associates in his tone, but most of the time he’s silently overpowered with the bitterness from his hindsight. 

The most respectable and cherished label Jackal can give to a person is to refer to them as a “sibling” - and vice versa; there’s nothing that quite melts Jackal’s heart than when someone calls him “brother”. After all, the only closure he’d had during his younger years was his brother - and thus to him the title of sibling equivalates to undying love and loyalty. Though the repercussion to that is if said person screwed him over or upset him, he’ll take it far more personally because he’ll also take it as a personal insult to Faisal as well. 

I headcanon Jackal and Thermite as drinking buddies. Both of them often look to each other as a source of relief after stressful missions - or when the weight of life itself gets too much to deal with. Often times, they’ll get into passionate discussions about their pasts and how they should’ve taken advantage of the time they had with the people they lost when they had a chance, or just share fond memories of adolescence. Thermite (and his exuberant story-telling) is the only person he feels comfortable around enough to listen to his stories because the Texan has a certain charm that makes his recollections feel vivid and real - as if Jackal had been there and experienced them as well. Also, Jackal has managed to make Thermite believe in the entertainment value of Football - and has even managed to convert Thermite to being a fan of Jackal’s favorite team. Thermite has also managed to convince Jackal that American Football is worth the watch and hype, and has also made Jackal a fan of his favorite team (the Dallas cowboys ofc) aswell - a fact that Thermite will never not bring up anytime there’s heated debates about the sport.  Jackal has toyed around with the idea of buying sports tickets for the two of them at some point.

The way Jackal and Mira escalated from being mere co-workers to close friends was shortly after they’d joined Rainbow. Jackal knows jackshit about cars - and would rather be ripped off by a sleazy auto-repair mechanic for a simple-solution fix than get his hands dirty and do it himself, and Mira insisted on helping Jackal with troubles he was having with his car in hopes of getting to know the other operator better. Through a combination of their already given respect for one another, the comfort of sharing both a language and country, and their witty humor bouncing back and forth from one another, they quickly became friends. They often seek one another out as a source of comfort; a nonjudgmental haven for both of them - even if their advice to one another could be somewhat harsh, but really that kind of humbling advice is what they both need to stay grounded. 

Jackal gardens. It’s a peaceful hobby he picked up after Faisal’s death and often something he resorts to whenever he needs a distraction from his distressing thoughts. He thinks of them as his treasured babies of and highly values them - not only for the sentimentality he’s attached to the plants but also because he believes they purify the air of emotional tension and relieves the emotional baggage he carries so heavily. He keeps many plants in his room - Aloe vera and Rosemary just to name a few - in hopes they’ll help him catch up on sleep. Oddly enough, he’s come to give nicknames to his floral friends. His deep-rooted (ba-dum-tss) connection has caused him problems; like when his Hibiscus died after Jackal couldn’t water it during a lengthy mission, his emotional state suffered - though if anything it’s more because the death of his beloved brought back painful mental wounds of Faisal.

YO! okay so, Ricochet embodies everything that Jazz isn’t. Rico is one sick mech who takes killing as a form of pleasure. He’s reckless, unstable, vile, and fights dirty. He’s lost all sense of humanity in him long ago and does not care about anybody. He has a liking for human music though. preferably heavy metal, trap music, similar styles in that range. His moral alignment is chaotic evil. 

He was pretty messed up by his former sensei Yoketron though, that’s what got him severely paranoid about being under someone’s control by brute force. He wasn’t *that* terrible before, but once after being under Yoketron’s horrible teachings, Ricochet snapped, and wanted to snuff his own master and leave the dojo. He did so with the help of his ninjabot comrade Prowl. But, they are not aware that they didn’t quite finish the job in killing their own sensei…

Basically, Rico was fucced up emotionally and physically and had no one to turn to for help, so he became this crazy mess of anger and thirst for energon spilling. and now there’s no going back for him. He’s crossed the line of redemption and at the same time, suffers from his own consequences. 

TL;DR: He’s frickin’ bonkers. absolutely bonkers. and heLLA CREEPY. That’s it. I had fun making my own SG!Jazz. HE NASTYYYYY.
