SCREEN READER USERS PLEASE HELP!
I would like to know what operating system languages people prefer for their screen readers.
I’ve been using Apple’s UK English “David” as the voice for my screen reader—it’s like Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s mentor Giles reading a boring thing; I love it.
But different voice programs and accents seem to have differences of interpreting punctuation. I want to make sure I understand how to make useful punctuation for screen reader descriptions.
Poll below if it helps others communicate, but I know I’m not active enough for this to get to the people I most need answers from.
To all potential and frequent screen reader users: What kind of voice setting do you use for English?
a system default
UK English
USA English

I’m open to trying Spanish and French translation for screen readers. Would try others, but I gotta start by learning English L O L
Thanks for any opinions or comments because they come from your experiences, heart emoji world and peace emojis.
