It’s been a busy fall with TIN CAN, finishing off our festival run with a number of awards and nominations. The film picked up Best Score and Cinematography at the Atlantic International Film Festival, Best Make up at Film Quest, and most recently, took Best Feature Film at the Screen Nova Scotia Awards (above). We feel so lucky to be able to make these films the way we want and find such receptive audiences. Thanks to all who watched and wrote about it. We’re looking forward to the release. Lot’s of fun stuff to come.
We’re settling back in after a busy week at Cannes. It was a warm experience attending the festival and market as a part of the Telefilm delegation. Many thanks to Carolle Brabant, Michel Pradier, Danielle Belanger, Danny Lennon and the rest of the gang for having us and screening our film in their program.
Some local love: I Am Coming to Paris to Kill You was recently nominated for the Screen Nova Scotia Award for Best Short Film. It will make its Atlantic premiere at this year’s Halifax independent Filmmakers Festival in June. Hope to see you there!
