Something that really bothers me in the movies:
I'm sorry, but I seriously find an issue with this line.
First off Snape, you really didnt have respect for Lily. Yeah you called her your "best friend", but you treated others like her like crap, called her a Mudblood, became a person that caught against her kind, didnt care if Voldy killes James and Harry, TREATED HER OWN SON LIKE ISH FOR SIX YEARS, and then all of a sudden they wanna make the audience feel compassion for this dying man having to see his "best friend's" eyes in her son?
Snape didnt really care about Lily at all in my opinion.
If he truly cared about her, he wouldnt have treated her kind the way he did.
He wouldnt have hung out with people that treated her kind the way they did.
He wouldnt have called her a Mudblood, no matter how angry he was.
He would have actually showed some compassion to Dumbledore mercy for the entire family, not just Lily. Sure, James bullied him, but what did he think would happen if James was out of the picture? Surely he wasnt delusional to think that Lily would be happy to lose her husband and son, and they would be together or something.
And if he REALLY loved Lily the way he claimed with her patronus and his little monotone "Always" (#Eyeroll), he absolutely would NOT have treated Harry Potter the way he did. Harry did absolutely nothing to deserve the treatment Snape gave him. And for what? His father?? Why should Harry pay for the mistakes of James?? And why doesn't Snape's "love of Lily" override his hate of James so that he could either show respect or be indifferent to her freaking son??
Screw Severus Snape. He didnt gaf about Lily. And anyone can fight me on that.
And he did not deserve to look into Harry's eyes as he died. Lily's green shouldnt have been the last thing Snape got to see.
It should have been the cold ground to match his cold heart.
