Cursed!Killian

So somewhere along the line, A&E did an interview in which they said they had plans to have Killian Jones/Captain Hook in the cursed Storybrooke during the first season of the show and it was just a rights issue that stopped them. For some reason, this idea really stuck with me. I was like “Could you imagine this man in season one when he was cursed along with everyone else?”

So I wrote Cursed!Killian fics. My first fanfic ever that broke more than 10,000 words was a Cursed!Killian fic. My current most popular fanfic ever was a Cursed!Killian fic (besides the modern hockey AU I pulled down to create an original novel you can buy now on Amazon!) There’s just something about Killian finding Emma when he’s as cursed as everyone else that has just been so appealing to me. So this is my Cursed!Killian collection for @scribblecat27‘s fandom crescendo!

With only some scribbled notes and a book of fairy tales, can she once again be the savior that Storybrooke needs?

It’s Complicated -- AO3 | FF.net Killian Jones saved his best friends' daughter from a curse 28 years ago, but that baby is now a grown woman who has just broken the curse. Oh, and she also happens to be Killian's girlfriend. Based on this art by @winterbythesea and random ideas by @spartanguard and @queen-mabs-revenge that I can’t pin down since it’s been so long.

Omg the Queen is ridiculously pale! I saw her last year and this statement still rings true. Hehe

I have to confess, I never got into Anne (of GG?) or Nancy Drew.  I did have the ‘What Katy Did’ series, but then I started reading my older siblings’ Agatha Christie collection and poor old Katy was forgotten.

My parents sold all my Trixie Belden books at a garage sale when I was in high school. Long, long ago. I'm still bitter. lol

Look What the Cat Dragged In

For my next OUAT fandom crescendo, I’m pulling out a fluffy fic that I did last year and still love. And I literally mean fluffy. Loosely based on a @dailyau​ prompt: “I asked you to babysit one time and now my child keeps asking when you will spend time with them again” Except I made the kid a fluffy adorable black cat named Princess.

Summary: There are only a couple things Killian Jones knows about his neighbor, Emma Swan. She's a bail bonds person and she's attractive. Also, she apparently has a cat. And he apparently is now her cat sitter.

A highlight:

It was Emma.

And judging by her momentary look of shock, he just realized that he had answered the door wearing only the pair of sweatpants he slept in and no shirt.

And it was Emma.

He tried to keep himself calm, hoping he was acting natural while also trying to calm his racing heart down.

“Um…” Emma cleared her throat and finally looked up to make eye contact with him. Her cheeks were a bit red. “Hi. Hey. I hope I’m not bothering you.”

“No bother,” he replied quickly.

“Right. Good,” she said, nodding her head to her own response. “So real quick: are you allergic to cats?”

One Way to Win on Christmas

Reblogging another oldie but a goodie! This was my Captain Swan Secret Santa gift from 2015 (how is it so old?) for @camillewithlove. Once again, credit to @scribblecat27 for this awesome fandom crescendo idea, and thanks to @laschatzi who posed the idea of a Christmas themed crescendo. Merry Christmas! (or whatever)

Summary:  With 12 days before Christmas, can two reporters find the gift of love under their tree? She is Emma Swan, courts reporter for the Boston Star. He is Killian Jones, list-making extraordinaire with a desk next to her. And you’ll never believe what happens on Christmas Day!

Emma sighed. "I don't do warm and fuzzy."

Killian looked up at her and scowled. "What about a kitty rolling around with a puppy?"

"No."

"Have you been to the doctor recently?"

She gave him a surprised look. "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Just wanted to see if you've ever had a professional confirm that you have a heart."

She stared at him and booted up her computer. She wasn't going to tell him that she did, in fact, have a heart. She also wasn't going to tell him that when she got home after work, she was going to look at his list of cat gifs. Seriously, what breathing human could resist cute cat gifs? She just wasn't going to tell him that.

I’d like to thank the wonderful and talented @scribblecat27 for her idea of the ouat fandom crescendo movement, where she asked all creators to dig up their dead, to bring back especially their older creations. I’ve started to do this with some really old fics of mine (and I’m checking off my list), and it’s so amazing to see new people discover them, some people rediscover them, and that stuff really gets some new love here on tumblr and also over at ff.net and ao3, and that makes me stupidly happy.
