It technically started out as Adam’s channel but I’ve been included more and more doing occasional thumbnail art help and co-commentating n such, we share the $ from it cause we live together and share a lot of stuff :3

I like what we got done so far but none of our pokemon playthrus are complete RIP my fan-status (I Really wanna start this thing we’ve talked about that’ll basically be a vehicle for me to talk about ~the anime~ and draw stuff but I’m still learning how OBS works :’3)

I think out of the complete playthroughs we've done, Undertale might be my fav (even if I’m a little embarrassed of my voice acting in places u///u)

Hi Danielle!! I've been watching you and Adam's Pokémon Sun and Moon videos lately, and they've cheered me up a LOT. I'm about to leave for my freshman year at university, so I've been suuuper anxious lately, but your videos have helped me take my mind off it and relax! You two are so funny (the "welcome to the scarf" thing k i l l e d me) and so heckiN sweet. Thank you both for being so wonderful and working so hard!! You have made parts of my life (and others' lives) so much brighter!! ♥ ^^

Adam and I both have our history w/ anxiety and depression, and over the years we’ve decided we’d like to make the kinda stuff that could help other ppl that might be havin a bad time, so we try to make our videos w/ as much ~positive energy~as we can (ya know, without being robots about it or anything) - but it always means a lot to hear that our stuff actually IS helping a little

This year.. has been kinda rough :‘3lately, we’ve struggled a bit more than usual to find that upbeat energy, and haven’t been able to record/post new videos as often as we’d likeBut! We’ve been steadily getting things back in order and our Goal is to get back into recording within the next couple weeks :DWe were just talking earlier about which series we should prioritize, I’ll count this as a vote for pokemon and tell Adam :3

I can’t promise you’ll have the exact same university experience as me, but I know this checks out for a lot of other ppl I’ve known too…while the work load can still be intense and there’s a lot to get used to at first, most of my professors were waaay more chill and understanding than any of my high school teachers had been, and the whole campus in general was just a much less oppressive atmosphere

I’m sure you’ll get the hang of things and make some great new friends!!

(And if you ever find yourself second guessing your major, that is Completely Normal and OK -like I literally don’t know anybody that didn’t at least consider switching dept’s or transferring schools a few times b4 graduating, or they just started out undeclared in the 1rst place :‘3 - it’s good to check in with yourself! And if u don’t like how things are going, you Can change it! things Are NOT actually as FINAL as they might feel right now)

the last one was the most Strange yet wonderful con experience I’ve ever had?

their version of artist-alley/vendor-room is a casual trading system, no one is supposed to buy anything w/ irl money you offer ppl stuff for their stuff it’s neat.

I’m def bringing supplies to do ‘commissions’ for pokemon-related and/or shiny things, -so if you bring me a bauble(that I can take home w/ me on a plane :’3) I’ll draw you a thing! I’m up for planning trades/meet-ups beforehand since then I’ll have more time to put into drawing your thing :D

and if anyone isn’t necessarily going to the con, but also happens to have the hubris to be in the AZ Desert in July, and just wants to meet up n listen to me complain about the sun or w/e while I’m gonna be out that way, message me!

Was feeling pretty Art-Blocked lately, but then I realized in the past few months I haven’t allowed myself to draw anything that wasn’t "For” a project of some kind.

even w/ my ever growing want-to-draw-some-day to-do list, making time to sit down to a canvas without a pre-planned concept to aim for, and without the pressure to make even my “sketches” look Finished Enough To Post (which then, it isn’t exactly a “sketch” anymore?), is important for me to do -it helps me re-calibrate and avoid feeling like my style is stagnating. I know this about myself, But I still keep forgetting to do it!

wanna do that Draw-a-mashup-of-your-fav-characters thing sometime but I struggle w/ picking favorites I have fondness for lots of protags And villains, pairs of opposites basically? So, needed a chart to try to boil things down for myself. I guess, the one common trait I gravitate towards is occassionally making me laugh? So now I just gotta fill this out w/ character examples and draw a thing :3 (Idk how legible this even is, but if you got a use for it feel free?)

What’s your favourite Pokemon generation? Mines 4!

It’s hard for me to pick favorites, esp w/ pokemon I feel like each generation does some things better than others but None of them does Everything Perfectly so... idk it all evens out mostly?

games-wise tho I have a special fondness for gen 4 too, because that was the first time I ever got to play a pokemon game, wasn’t allowed a portable game system until I was old enough to have a part-time job and buy it w/ my own money. after being a fan of the show for so long even the elements of the game that were old series standards by then were new to me and felt really cool and exciting!
