I love editing. Been doing it for friends’ essays, stories, etc. for years. Harder to edit my own stuff though

uhuh, i suspect I would enjoy editing for others a lot more. for myself, it’s really difficult. i also feel like it takes a lot of energy for not a lot of work in the end.

I always wondered - have asari picked up human fashion trends? or are the human women copying asari fashions?

I was wondering the same thing, but I think it comes from the asari. Seems like it would be this way around? + Rila and Falere in the monastery are wearing dresses like this, and they've been isolated for a long time.

I find that problematic characters are often the most interesting. I think as long as you're honest in your appreciation, and acknowledge problematic elements, there's nothing wrong with liking an imperfect character.

Depending on the character, I can find them interesting in a why-would-the-writer-do-that kind of way, or a I-wish-the-writer-had-done-this kind of way. I don't know that I necessarily find them the most interesting--probably not, tbh--but interesting, certainly. And, regardless, there has never been a character without a fault, and I do agree: as long as there is acknowledgment that there are problems, there's no fault with liking one of these sorts of characters.

Ah, don't mind me. I saw some really vitriolic character hate on my dash this morning, and despite the fact that some of it was about a character I don't even like, I felt so insecure after reading it. Their reasons were more or less valid, too--didn't agree on some finer points, but I got where they were coming from--which made it even more bad-feeling-having. I know it wasn't about me, specifically (they don't even follow me!), but suddenly all the things in my brain wanted to hide in shame. Sigh.

Well, from what I've seen on my dash, sadly, no. Hawke remains totally against blood magic no matter what is your allegiance with Merrill is. And yeah, specialization doesn't affect anything either.
