✦ does your notes app support rich text? ✦
i like to keep a note with my favorite symbols, headings, font styles etc for easy access. this mini (yes, this is... a mini one) starter has been my favorite for a while, so i figure i should share! i’m a pastel maniac, so please feel free to change just about everything to suit your needs and tastes 😊 (also, this isn’t limited to notes- if you have a rich text diary or journal app, it can be used there too!)
my favorite note application (and fav that supports .rtf) is scribblet, which used to be a paid app through the app store (mac os) - but i don’t see much stuff for it except what appears to be a free download link on cnet. anyway, i don’t know about all that but it is basically perfection tied to a hotkey. (sshot from here)

note: some of the text uses Signika, a free font from Google. you can download it here, i’m a big fan and use it in a lot of notes.

Quick pre-work sketch that I was supposed to have done yesterday (before I fell asleep at, uh, 9). For my version of NaNoDrawMo, wherein I do a sketch and a tiny bit of prose accompanying it each day. I've done this before (if not in November) to good success, as far as getting up to steam and working every day.
Another one later tonight, with will.

The seconds slipped by. She realized, suddenly, that nobody was going to do anything - the sailors averted their eyes, some crossed themselves, while others took no notice.
Anger boiled through her, hot and abrupt. Anger propelled her toward the railing as she grabbed her sleeves and heavy skirts in fists, tearing them off in ragged chunks. Her speed left no one time to protest until she launched herself off the side, and then she heard only the wind and the nearing slap of the waves as she dove.
