I have a very under-construction website, and by next week I should have a newsletter up and running! AND I have a project I'm more solidly working on adsfad (I'll say more about that later, but, for now, it's called A Four-Dimensional Plot)
Updates!
Victory! 🎆✨
NaNoWriMo got vanquished, with a few thousand words to spare. A hearty chunk of the word count was research-related, but I got Terrarium Lights fully drafted, which is also a victory in and of itself (I actually finished a story for once lol). The original plan was that the story would be three parts, and it still kind of is, just, uh, well now there are sub-parts to the parts. So. Not sure exactly how the update schedule will work, but I'm going to try to upload a bit every Saturday.
Research continues to go. I think I knocked out most of my needed research for Wild West stuff, but we'll see as the writing continues.
Still debating about whether or not I should try and do an entry for the Christmas Inklings Challenge. I have some vague scene ideas but nothing concrete.
The rest of the month/year will be mostly prep work and research and editing for various projects to be tackled in 2024 (which is. next month. why is time like this), mainly a few more shorter stories and the longer story with Crispin, and more generally getting my writer act together.
Writing Room Update
Made some good progress this last week!
On one hand, I keep not getting started on Loch's story's outline, but on the other I got a quite decent portion of brainstorming done. Lately I've been working on figuring out websites and mailing lists and ko-fi and patreon and all the other myried details as I'm trying to figure out what my next steps in my writing career look like. I still have a lot of research to do, but I at least I have a general idea of the kind of content I'd be working with.
Also getting ready for Christmas! Later this week I'll post a poll on that, since I'm trying to figure out how to celebrate it on my blog, as well as in real life.
