You ever get that thing where you work on a fanfic and then you hit a block and then you try to research to find a way around that block and suddenly you’re miles deep into an anime that is in an entirely different genre than the one that you’re writing about that you hit a block on?

Yeah...

Plot twists

Me, as a reader, in the last half of the book: OMG whaaaat???!? I never saw that coming!! The author really got me there!

Also me, as a writer, within the first four chapters: The friendly uncle is the villain. It’s so obvious it hurts.

So I realize I promised to update Rule 3 before a year passed- and I just now realized that deadline was last week. I'm really sorry, but we've gotten an influx of new employees at my job so I've been having to work overtime trying to simultaneously train them and pick up their slack until they're used to our system. I've only had one day off in the past two weeks... OTL

Awwwwww you're so sweet! ^ω^ I've been struggling with motivation to write lately (lol who am I kidding it's been nearly a year since the last update- I'm terrible) so you're message really perks me up.I've been kinda on the verge of getting back into the business so to speak. It might still take a while til I actually get off my rear and do something, since I don't want to burnout if I jump the gun. But I refuse to let Rule 3 go a full year without an update!

Ha… ha ha ha ha… Umm, about that. I’ve been meaning to tell people that my muse ran off to Florida or something without leaving me a notice so I have no idea when it’ll be back. Both my P.I.C. (partner-in-crime) and my beta are telling me that I should take a break anyway and let my muse return on its own.

I’m really sorry about that, as soon as I have the motivation to write again Rule 3 will be the first story I work on again!
