Today's scripture card.
Today's scripture card. Lots of sunshine today. That has been good after all the fog. No church today, but I watched the Sunday service they sent on TV. October is coming. Under three months to Christmas. No Christmas candy in the stores just yet, but soon it will be there. Sigh! They ruin Christmas. All for selling more. Sell, sell, sell.
Today's scripture card. There is no Sunday service in the church I usually go to today, but even if it had been, I wouldn't have gone there today. I am not well enough. I will find one on TV.
The Bible didn't mean much to me, but once I got to know a woman and she sent me these scripture cards, and that opened up the Bible for me. I got a bigger understanding of the book and that it's full of wisdom. I often think I should read more in it, but I never seem to get around to do so, but I treasure these cards, and I have also bought other scripture cards. I am hooked on these quotes. I think it brings me closer to God. This woman from America sent me lots of things. Opening up the packages she sent was like opening treasure boxes, and it was so fun. I hope she had fun with it, too. I still have all the things she sent me. I miss what we had together. It was sweet times the time with her.
Today's scripture card.
I found the Proverbs today. I picked a scripture card and wanted to read more.
Today's scripture card. This one is a little special to me. <3 It reminds me of Marylee, a sweet soul I happen to bump into.
Two scripture cards today this Sunday. I haven't been to church for a while. I miss it a bit. I will go soon, I guess. One of these days I will go there.
