Scriptwrecked is such a fun time fr, heist 2.0

Finally got around to watching Honeymoon Homicide (got the digital ticket when it came out, but I had a long week at work, so did not have the time to watch it before today) and can I just say that I loved it? I mean, I knew I would, because Sinéad is an absolutely brilliant writer, but it bears saying aloud (or typing out?)! The plot was amazing, the actors put so much into it for a script read-through and it just was all-round incredible! (And I did not foresee who the murderer was!)

I know Mary Kate and Sinéad already addressed the British accents in their talkback, but I’m British, so I can’t not say something! I found them hilariously painful, like, I loved them, but my gods, did they make me want to cry (though I can’t really judge, my American accent is atrocious)! The Britishisms felt a little old fashioned at times, but I absolutely loved that because it really set the vibe of a countryside village that’s still a little stuck in the past (and creates for great juxtaposition with the more modern aspects)! The Britishisms were very well done, though!

Point is: 10/10, would recommend, and massive kudos to Sinéad and all of the cast!

Stray Honeymoon Homicide thought: Kinda’ fun that they cast Blake "HG Wells" Silver, known for playing a British character so mild-mannered and pleasant that half the Poe Party fandom was convinced he had to be secretly evil, as Nigel, a British character so mild-mannered and pleasant that he of course ends up being secretly evil.
