I'm going to be honest and come right out and say that I really miss the old RWBY fandom, when everything was new and theories were going about crazy, everyone was so EXCITED about new content; even content creators like AMV editors and fan artists were so few and far between because!!! RWBY was so new!!! But now that it's this huge big wide spread thing now it just seems like the novelty's worn off and no one seems to care anymore? All the original AMV editors don't really edit with it anymore, and no one really seems to get hyped anymore. Or at least, to the extent they used to. There's a bit of hype when a new thing is announced, but after a while it just? Dies down. Maybe it's just me, but I really miss the OG fans.

Yang Xiao Long was a girl that was so desperate for answers as to why her own mother abandoned her that she put the lives of herself and her baby sister in danger, and to this day hasn't forgiven herself for it. Yang Xiao Long is a girl who would literally throw herself in the way to protect someone she loves. Yang Xiao Long has abandonment issues. Yang Xiao Long hates herself. Yang Xiao Long has trust issues. Yang Xiao Long deserves happiness for fuck sake.

Honestly, Koe no katachi is such a great read, and it was amazing to see those heart breaking scenes from the manga be animated and voiced— with such great talent, too. The animation was beautiful and the colours were just so mesmerising; I loved the movie A LOT. But, I feel as if people that watch the movie won't really understand certain characters existence and the impact certain scenes are supposed to hold because, at the end of the day, there's no way you could cram that much content into a 2 hour movie. It was really really well done, though. I just hope more people turn to read the manga to fully experience the story.
