i love the concept that Bonnie’s parts were used to restore Burntrap
Vanessa as Vanny absolutely mutilates the poor rabbit, filled by an unnatural strength that is bestowed upon her thanks to Glitchtrap. she then takes several of his parts and leaves the scraps behind.
down in the underground pizzeria, she gets to work on fixing Burntrap, but her actions are weighed by guilt and anguish. Bonnie was her friend, and she destroyed him.
Burntrap catches wind of this, as she’s sniffling while working (clearly trying to cry as quietly as possible), and he calls her out, saying, “really? are you crying right now?”
to which Vanessa replies, “he was my friend.”
Burntrap scoffs. “he was a robot.”
Vanessa then mutters, “you’re just a robot…”
wrong thing to say.
a second later, a charred metal hand is swinging around and striking her right across the face, tearing open her cheek and nearly ripping her eyeball out. a second hand then seizes her by the throat, driving her backward against the wall. Burntrap is upon her, smoldering with hatred.
“i am more than just a ‘robot,’ you incompetent slut,” he hisses. “if i were you, i would hold your tongue, little girl. i am happy to rip it out.”
meanwhile, Vanessa is gagging, clawing desperately at Burntrap’s hand but being unable to get him off. she can literally feel him starting to crush her windpipe. she’s going to die.
all she can manage to choke out is, “Mr. Afton…you’re hurting me…!”
Burntrap leans in and says, “good.”
he then releases her just before she succumbs to oxygen deprivation, throwing her down to the floor. he gives her a good kick to the ribs for good measure, which nearly breaks his body because he’s still not fully repaired, and he scolds Vanessa for this while she’s struggling to breathe. barely recovered, Vanessa is ordered to start working again, and she has no other choice but to obey.
later that morning, with a thick band of purple bruises around her throat and claw marks ripped across one side of her face, Vanessa explains in a hoarse voice to the staff that Bonnie had attacked her.
