BUSY!!!

I have had a busy summer.....Theres always the horses to see to.  Daddy came to drive the muck tractor the other day.  I was very brave with him there....barking at Charlie and chasing the Shetlands.  Untill I nearly got trampled!!

Today, not only did I do my pony duties, I also accompanied Mum and Dad on a walk to the River.....Phew.  Fun but Phew....I need my bed!!

Furfriends and Jellyfish

Mummy has been busy this weekend.....grumphh. I have had to SHARE. First up we had Buddy for the day. He was actually pretty cool. We to took him up to the horses and me and Pru showed him the ropes. After a chill out at home, Mummy took us for a walk.  We were pretty tired so we all fell asleep in the Evening. We were woke by Buddys mum come to pick him up.

The next day mummy was looking after the Spaniels in the Big House. We all get on all right really. It was so hot at the horses we mostly laid down. So in the afternoon we all went for a walk.  We were thirsty, so we went to Dps Bar for some water.  It was fun.....but I'm glad to get my space back.  I thought someone would find my bone.

Me, Mummy and Daddy have been going to the Beach to cool off this week.  Mummy wanted to swim, but the sea is full of Jellyfish.  Mummy says I can't eat them.....she says they sting.

At The Car Wash and The Legend Of Black Shuck

Hi fans, today Mummy took me to the car-wash.........Well we took the car.  I probably do need a bath though.  There are lots of men all washing the car at once.  They were laughing because I was running round the car growling.  I mean what is funny about that?   But they had the last laugh when they put the pressure hose on.  Way Too Much Water.  Didn't like that. The car was very shiny afterwards though.

After that we went for a walk around Leiston Abbey. We were looking for the grave of Black Shuck, who was apparently buried there thousands of years ago.  Well, thousands of dog years!!  He was a 7foot long dog, with burning eyes and if he looked at you, you were dead. Respect!  It once chased the villagers into a local church.  The claw marks are still on the outside of the door!!!!

Anyway.....we couldn't find his grave. BOL.  Mummy looked it up on the internet when we got back.  We were looking inside the Abbey Ruins, and apparently the grave is near the car-park!!!!

Rain, Advent Calendars and Santa Hats

So yes, its actually been raining alot.  That means I have had to wear my coat.....Mega Sulks!!!  But it could be worse.....Mum has been publishing a pic of her and Charlie in xmas hats.  Not that he had to actually wear it.....She photo-shopped the hats on!!

Anyway coats and rain aside.....I love my new house. It has stairs to run up... :-)   The garden is awesome....soooo many squirrells to chase.  And I have my advent calender to open every day.  

Sooo looking forward to xmas.....hehe, wonder what I get?  Better not be socks!!

Visit To The Vet and Another Raincoat

So it was my turn to go to the vet last week.  And no I wasn't kicked.  I don't get that close. But mum noticed a lump on my hip and wasn't happy. Can't say I was ecstatic to have a large needle inserted into the lump, but I was very brave.  Apparently its nothing to worry about.  If it gets too big I may have to have it removed, but its not cancerous.  Maybe Mum will be less clingy now!!!!

And so its been raining, followed by more rain.  And I was right, Mum had got me another wax jacket!!!!! Hmmmmph I suppose it keeps me dry.

The horses were funny last week.  Aunty Jo took Lulu into the stable for a bran mash as she didn't look right.  The other two went mad, galloping up and down, bucking, farting......Daisy even sat down!!

Ice Cream Paws and Pru To The Vet

Yes its all been happening this week.  Firstly let me tell you about my ice cream feet.....Well this is what happened, Er you see it started like this .... Anyway, I jumped into the back seat of the car and put my feet in Jo's bag, which had a pot of melted ice cream in it.  OOhh the mess, as I trod it in all over mummys jeans, and splattered it over the dashboard.  Worse was to come as we discovered Jo's bag was full of ice cream.....and so was her mobile phone.  Oopsy.  Anyway the good news is the phone is working again.

So I thought I'd better be on my best behaviour as mummy took me to view a flat she hopes to rent.  As we knocked at the door three spaniels errupted out of the dog flap to inspect me.  But they are all girls and soon we were off round a lovely big garden for a run.  Of course I couldn't keep up with them!  Then we toured the house.  Very interesting....I love new places and made myself at home in front of the Arga ( I don't know how to spell that....I only knew it was called that because Mum mentioned it. Anyway it was big and warm).  

And now to poor Pru and the trip to the vet.  Yesterday we were playing chase me with Charlie.  Except Pru was too close and Charlie kicked back and caught Pru right in the face.  She screamed and screamed.  We went rushing over to her.......omg her nose was bleeding.  I tried to sit close to her.  Even Charlie and Lulu came over to try and help, but Mummy shushed them away. So Pru's eye started to swell and close so we took her to the vet for a check over.  Seems like she had a bit of concussion.

I am so happy to report she is back to normal today, although we are not playing chase any more.

My New Job - Hmmph

Today I began my new career......as an electric fence tester!!  I only went to get a drink. I ran under the fence and Kapow.....Shocked!!  So the fence worked.  What I don't get is how the ponies know when its not on.  The other day Nan came up to see the ponies, and while I was showing her how good I was at exercising them, they ran under the fence!!!  Result for them....4 acres of long grass.  They resisted arrest !  

Today Daddy came up to see the ponies.....What is all these visitors???  

The answer is Charlie!  Yup Daddy came to take pictures of Charlie.  Nose? Out of joint? I don't think so....after all when I'm snuggled up under the duvet with mummy and daddy I have to snigger at the thought of Charlie outside in the rain (hehe).
