something to encapsulate the feeling of bucky waking up and watching steve still soft and asleep next to him, or them sitting shoulder to shoulder on a fire escape and it could be 1937 or 2015 because even if they’ve changed, the easy space between hasn’t, or steve wrapping his arms around bucky from behind as he stirs hot cocoa on the stove and chuckles as he squirts some whipped cream on steve’s nose.
