"I should've known better."
"Was that…." Minhyuk glared down at the empty plate, held tightly between the long fingers of his friend. The few crumbs scattered across the porcelain were the only evidence of the slice of cake he’d been saving. Sure he’d stolen it, stolen it for a rainy day or to simply stave off a craving. And now, it was gone. Already in the process of being digested.
He looked up at Yukwon, the other’s expression a mixture of curiosity and confusion. How many times must he remind the older male not to raid his refrigerator without asking first? It was rule number one. Or number two, Minhyuk wasn’t sure, they were unwritten rules after all.
A few seconds passed by and his mind spun, thinking up punishments for the loss of his cake. The glass of soda in his hand looked more tempting than ever. Not for consumption of course but—
"Damn right you should know better, shame on you." Minhyuk placed the now empty glass on the table and sighed, he glanced over the soda covered Yukwon and snorted loudly, despite trying his hardest to remain angry. "Next time I’ll shave your head while you sleep."
