AU-Hanseong and Yoongi

The whole time they were moving, Hanseong drifted in and out of consciousness, the wolf’s growls fading with each time he closed his eyes. The next time he got his wits about him, he was in a strange room. He could hear the snarls of Yoongi in the distance, muffled by the walls.

When his ties were cut, he opened his eyes again, forked tongue flicking out to taste the air. water.

He lashed out, darting from the crate and curling around the bowl of water, his webbed feet clinging to the bowl and he stuck his face into the water. He let his body slide through the bowl, spilling most of it but wetting his scales. He hissed quietly. He was too weak to transform and ask for more water so he simply whined and left his nose in the small puddle that was left.

In the other room, Yoongi paced inside his cage. His silver jewelry glinted in the light as his ears twitched. He would occasionally growl but it seemed the man who bought them was tending to other things. He lay down, resting his muzzled jaws on his front paws. He intended to sink his fangs into the flesh of his captors the moment he had a chance.

Sho was surprised at how fast the dragon moved from one moment to the next. He jumped, yes. And he wasn’t ashamed to admit that. Anyone who didn’t jump at the quick movement of a creature that was practically half dead, was a liar. 

“No! Don...” He shouted when he saw the dragon mostly spill the water instead of drinking it. He sighed and palmed his face shaking his head.

Returning to the kitchen Sho picked up the second bowl, of the same size, and filled it before returning to the cage. Placing the bowl on top of the cage, right above the dragon, in the hopes it would attract it’s attention so he could take the carrier out of the cage before he would put the bowl there. As quickly as he could, he opened the door and took out the carrier and closed the door again. “Okay buddy, I’m going to put the bowl inside, please don’t attack me.” He said, more to reassure himself than knowing that the dragon could understand. 

Quickly he opened the door, once again, and Sho placed the bowl inside the cage as far from the door as he could without entering the cage himself, re-closed the door and waited for what would happened next.

Sho was glad he didn’t have to get upset discussing the price of these creatures. At the request of the money he took and envelope from inside his jacket and slipped it on the desk towards the other man. When the other verified the amount was correct, Sho was guided towards the dragon’s cage and watched silently but very intensely all the work the men were doing to move the dragon to a cage. The dragon was really bad and the hitman just hoped the other would survive enough for them to reach his house and he could start taking real care of it.

The wolf was another matter. He was still wild and it was tougher to get it in its travel cage. When both were into their respective cages Sho showed them to the van that he was brought to transport the creature he had thought buying.

He tried to make their journey home as short as possible and when he reached there he moved to the back of the van and picked up a blanket big enough to cover the dragon’s carrier. “I’m sorry big guy but I’ll have to cover you. I don’t want my workers to know what I have at home.” He said as he threw the blanket over it. “And you too.” He said repeating the process towards the wolf’s carrier.

When that was finished he exited through the back door of the van and called out for some workers to take the carriers to his home, warning them to be very careful and not to dare peeking under the blanket.

Once they arrived into his home he indicated a big cage in a corner in the living-room for the workers to leave the bigger crate and the smaller crate he motioned towards his spare room. The furniture there could be destroyed if need be and the windows were bullet prof so there was no way the wolf would be able to escape through there. 

When both crates were in their respective places Sho sent the men away and moved to first get two bowls filled with water and returned to the living-room. Taking the blanket off the crate, Sho placed the water bowl inside the cage, so the dragon could leave the crate for the cage. “Okay buddy, you have some water here and I’m going to take your restraints so please don’t attack the sword, you will get hurt.” He said, not really caring if the creature could understand him or not. Once outside the cage and with the cage’s door closed, Sho carefully reached his sword and cut the dragon’s bindings and muzzle.

“As we spoke before all of the animals are up for sale but at the buyers own risk. If you have enough money I don’t care if you’re risking your life. So which of my pets is it you want to buy?”

In the arena, Yoongi was coaxed into the holding pen again while the loser’s body was pretty much turned into feed for the other predators in the warehouse. Yoongi’s white fur was covered in crimson and he slipped back into his pen.

Across the room, Hanseong managed to wiggle closer to the water bowl enough so that his tongue could reach and lap at the water but it was nowhere near enough to slake his thirst. He whimpered when someone yelled at him and the water was snatched further away. He hissed weakly, looking towards the door where he saw the man who captured him pass by with a strange man.

“I was looking for something in specific, but I didn’t know you sported extremely exotic animals.” He began, pointing to the door behind him. “How much would it be for the dragon we just passed by?”

Sho’s idea for being there was to buy something more dangerous than a simple guard dog, and for the moment he had found a couple of animals that fit his requirements.

The man sneered when Sho asked about the dragon. “Are you sure you want him? He’s a pitiful creature. Always sickly. I’m certain he’s going to die soon. Perhaps we can interest you in one of our wolves.” The man suggested.

“But if you insist, he’s listed at 2.5 million because of his rarity, lifespan or not.”

He opened the blinds in the office, gesturing for Sho to look. “Ah there’s our winner tonight.”

Yoongi was walking back to his pen after having been hosed down. His jaws were tightly muzzled as a precaution as he walked behind his handler with a tug every now and then on the chain.

“That one is a prize. He’s 1 million flat. The rest of the animals are of similar price or lower.”

“2.25 exactly because of its lifespan. If you’re certain it’s going to die soon, rare or not it’s not worth as much as if it was in perfect help.” He counters the other man’s offer before moving his attention to the wolf the other was talking about.

It was in fact a beautiful creature even if it was now completely soaked and seemed to have diminished in size a little bit. “I’ll take it as well.” He said motioning to the passing beast, but didn’t argue the price of it. 

Yes, he was buying more than he had intended but he never thought they would have a dragon, either.

There was a lot of noise. That meant they were provoking the carnivores. They always provoked them before fight night. Yoongi paced the length of his cage, long ears flattened back and a snarl resting on his lips as he waited to be released. The alpha didn’t necessarily dislike fighting but he damn sure didn’t like being forced to do so.

When they came to his cage, he snapped at them, earning him a lash across the back. He didn’t yelp. They didn’t deserve the satisfaction. The cage door was opened and he ran out into the barred tunnel that would lead him to the ring.

Even though he was thin, he was strong and gave no mercy when it came to his own well being. He paced at the edge of the tunnel entrance, waiting to be set free. His opponent tonight was a lynx. He could see the frightened feline on the other side of the arena, being shoved into the circular pen. The horn sounded and Yoongi was darting through the gap before the door was even all the way up.

Cheers from people who were betting on the fights sounded from all around the arena, already stained with blood. The wolf showed no mercy, his snarls echoing as he bit into the Lynx’s back.

In the back, Hanseong cowered in fear, the pale blue dragon curled in the back corner of his pen. He was on a chain to keep him from reaching the water bowl which was just out of his grasp. He looked dry and his scales flaked in some places. He panted softly, struggling to stay conscious. Just when he thought he would slip away, a small mist of water would coat his body and he would desperately whine for more only to have it cruelly yanked away from him. He could hear the fighting outside. He was next. He was the bait.

It wasn’t everyday that Sho did business with people that ran fighting rings, especially animal fighting rings. Not that he was averted to such things, he just prefer not to get involved with such people. But tonight was a different night. His business had led him to one of said rings. The building was very discreet and no sound reached the outside, though once one got through the doors one could hear the cheers and the animal noises that came from the main room of the place. 

Sho had specific business to conduct with the one responsible with this. So after he announced his presence to one of the guards at the door he was led to the main area and asked to wait there. Not too long after one fight began. It was a wolf against a lynx. How did they get their hands on these kind of animals was Sho’s guess, but even so he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the bloody scene in front of him. The wolf was quick to tear the lynx apart even when the other was slightly bigger than him and that surprised the hitman. 

Soon after he was joined by the boss and after a couple of exchanged words he was guided to the office in the back. On their way there, they passed several cages. Some empty, others filled with all kinds of creatures and animals, but only one had him stop in his tracks. Where his eyes playing tricks on him? He accepted the possibility of creatures that were considered figments of someone’s imagination could be true but never those creatures. Never a dragon. He followed the other when he heard him clear out his throat and quickly they were inside of the other’s office.

“You know what I’m here for.” Sho says as he moved to sit on the seat indicated by the other man. “I want to buy one of your animals.”

Hoseok bit his lip, pulling the blanket across him. “I’ve spent all my life making sure you’re okay… it’s not gonna break the habit in one night just because I’m sick.” He shivered.

“I’ll try though…. Lay with me…. please.” He curled up on their mat, pulling the thin blanet tighter around him. “Your body heat will help me sleep. Besides… bright and early tomorrow.” He groaned. It seemed the guards weren’t going to mess with them. They just wanted the two out of their hair.

“I know Hoseok, and I care for you even more because of it.” He commented, not stopping his hand from patting the younger’s hair. “Thank you.” He said before he nodded and moved to lay beside the other and pulling him against his body.

“I don’t like it either, but the soon we get rid of them the better.” He said placing a kiss on the top of the younger’s head. “You can sleep on the cart if you need to, I’ll keep and eye on you then.” He said trying to reassure Hoseok.

Hoseok faded in and out of consciousness the whole trip and accepted the extra water without complaint. He sat with his eyes closed and covered in a sheen of sweat as they applied antibacterial ointment to his wounds.

When they were left alone, he sighed and lay down, resting his head on Sho’s knee. “I feel like I’ve been beaten and stabbed.” He groaned with a shallow laugh. “Are you okay? Did you get water? I drank yours…” He worried, looking up at him.

“We still have another day of travel, you have to take care of yourself too.”

The prince was a bundle of nerves as he watched, like a hawk, one of the guards smearing ointment onto Hoseok’s wounds, and moved to the other’s side as soon as the guard stepped away form from him.

The ground wasn’t the best place for either of them to sleep but it was better than nothing, and Hoseok needed any rest he could take. Sho smiled down at the younger man and smiled gently as he combed his fingers through the other’s hair. “You were so brave.” He complimented. “Yes, I’m okay. And it’s okay to have drank my water you needed it more than I did, plus they gave me water afterwards.” He said lying towards the end. “Please stop worrying after me for a bit, you are sick Hoseok. Worry about yourself.” He insisted almost in a pleading tone.

Hoseok leaned against Sho as well, their sides pressed tightly together. Both of their hands were tied but he wanted to hold his hands so badly. The journey would be a long one. Now that the two kindgoms would be merged, they would have to cross practically the entire countryside to reach the boarder.

He wasn’t sure when, but he fell asleep, resting against Sho. He was jerked awake when they stopped to rest the horses and were given a moment to stretch, though Sho was kept seperate from him during this time.

His stomach growled but it seemed they weren’t too keen on feeding them. One soldier did tend to Hoseok’s wounds briefly. He shuffled back into the carriage and sighed, settling in for the rest of the journey.

Sho tried, he really did, but he couldn’t fall asleep with so many guards near them and him not being armed. He lost track of time but he could feel Hoseok beside him getting hotter and hotter, and his worry escalated. When they stopped and pulled them away from each other, Sho couldn’t help but shout at the guard tending to the younger's wounds. "He's starting to burn up." At the same time he struggled the ones holding him back. 

After they were sent back to the carriage and they were back on the road some water was given to them, it wasn’t much, so Sho decided to give his share of the water to Hoseok in the hopes it would help the younger.

The night fell quicker than he had been expecting and it seemed they weren't out of the territory yet. The guards pulled up tents and moved them from the carriage to one of them. Finally they gave them some food and only after Sho annoyed them enough did they treated Hoseok's wounds better and gave him some medicine. "How are you feeling?" He asked when the guard tending the younger's wounds left their tent.

Sleep found Hoseok quickly though it could be described more as unconsciousness. He woke up a questionable amount of time later and looked at Sho. He tried to speak but his throat was so dry it hurt. He looked around. No water, no bathroom. He was in need of both.

After swallowing a few times, he spoke. “Sire… Not to be crude, but I really gotta take care of something.” He groaned, carefully getting to his feet. He moved to the door and gripped the bars. “Either let me out or I’m pissing on your floor.” He growled. His body ached and he had little patience.

The door was opened and guards escorted them to a washroom. They were able to relieve themselves and Hoseok drank from the tap before splashing his face. His red hair was crusted with blood and sweat and stuck up at odd angles now that the braids were undone.

They were escorted back to the room only to be met with the king once more. Hoseok froze and backtracked, hiding behind Sho. “Your kingdom has fallen, you shall be escorted to the border.” It was all he said and the guards shoved the two prisoners towards the exit where a carriage would be waiting.

Hoseok’s hands were tied and he was pushed into the carriage, a guard watching over him as the same treatment would be given to Sho.

He didn't know when it happened but he fell asleep some time in the night, his arms surrounding the younger. It wasn't the best sleep he had. Not by far. But it was enough that he regained a little bit of his strength when he felt Hoseok stir awake and he instantly opened his eyes and looked at the young man on his lap.

"Sure." He said letting go of the other and watching him get up and move to the door. To be honest Sho hadn’t been expected the younger's complaints to come to fruition but it did and it got them a go to the bathroom. When they were back and got face to face with the king, Sho instantly moved in front of Hoseok and put his arm aroundthe other, as a sign of protection.

The news squeezed his heart and his shoulders sagged. So it's done. Everything he knew was no more. He quietly followed the guards. As they guided them outside, Sho made sure Hoseok was very close to him, but the moment they were outside the guards instantly tied his hands and practically shoved him into the carriage and followed after them to make sure they wouldn't jump out before they took them where they wanted them to go. 

At the end of the carriage, Sho sat right next to Hoseok, making sure his side was touching the younger's as much as possible. "We're gonna be okay." He whispered into the other's ear.

Hoeok shook his head. “You’re still my sire. You will always be my king.” He said. “If anyone is to blame it is not you…. And I will never leave you. I’d die if I even thought about living without you.” He covered Sho’s hand with his own.

“The only regret I have is that I won’t be able to say goodbye to Yoongi and my family.” He smiled a bit sadly. “But you’re alive and I’m alive…. we can only hope for the best now right?” He really wished that they could tend to each other’s injuries but the king would not be that kind to them. Hoseok wrinkled his nose. They both smelled, but he was still glad that they were alive.

He rested his head on Sho’s knees, vision blurring. “Sire…. I want to rest, just for a little while. Will you watch over me?”

Having Hoseok address him as king and not prince, filled the broken man's spirit with what he could describe better as the feeling of love. The heat of the younger's hand as he touched his own coupled with his words was enough to have more tears spill from Show's eyes. 

"They ran. You said your family ran so maybe you'll be able to find them some day." He said trying to give as much hope as he could to the other. "Right." He replied with a fake smile that he hoped the younger didn't notice it wasn't. 

"Don't fall asleep on the floor." He said moving to slip his arms around the others back and knees and piked him up. "I know this will hurt, I'm sorry." He said moving them both. He sat back on the chair and placed Hoseok on his lap. "Now you can sleep. I promise I will always watch over you."

The king gathered his men and left the two to their own devices. They wouldn’t be able to escape the room however. It was a long while before Hoseok could gather the strength to get up, but eventually he did, crawling over to Sho.

He rested his head on Sho’s lap, soft sobs shaking his slender frame. His hair was messy, sticking out in odd directions and his blood was everywhere. “Sire I’m sorry…. if not for me being selfish, you wouldn’t lose your kingdom… or perhaps maybe if I wasn’t so weak, we could be rescued…” He untied Sho with some difficulty.

“You could be married but still ruling your country… I’ve cost you everything.”

He was a broken man. He could hardly believe what he had just done to his people. How the mighty have fallen. Sho barely noticed the king leave the room together with his guards. He didn't even noticed Hoseok had moved until the younger's heat began to sip into him where he was leaning against the prince. Well former prince now. As his eyes were completely focused on the ground somewhere.

He heard the younger and smewhere along the way he could feel his cheeks dampened. But he still remained in silence. Even when his hands were untied he didn't moved. Only after a while did he spoke, so quietly it could almost have been mistaken by a whisper. "I'm not your sire anymore. I'm nothing." He began. "My father wouldn't be coming to rescue us. He would find a way to make my life miserable just because I got caught. I would be miserable if I was to be marry like my father wanted." He moved one hand to cup Hoseok's cheek, so gently it would almost feel like a ghost touch. And it was then that his gaze tured to the younger. "Please don't leave me. You're the only thing I have now." He practically begged, afraid the younger would now leave him since he was no longer of noble birth.

The king’s smile was wicked and Hoseok blinked in shock, surprised that Sho was heading his plea. He hung his head, unable to look, feeling as though he was responsible for the fall of their kingdom. In truth, he was…

“Very well, but your documents will be destroyed and the two of you exiled. You will never see these lands again. Now…. tell me where every hidden entrance is. If our raid is successful, we will release the two of you on the country’s border.

Hoseok was suddenly lifed, the chains going slack and he was sat down onto his feet, collapsing onto the stone floor.

He felt a vice around his heart at the sight of the king’s smile. He was about to betray his own country, his own people and his own family. “I agree.” He said nodding, once. “The best one is the entrance through the sewers’ gate on the east side. It’s broken halfway down. And it will lead you to the main courtyard. There are also entrances to the castle through the catacombs. Inside the church, behind the altar. Press the third stone from the right and the floor will open up, it’ll bring you to the pantry.” He spoke, telling the king both the secret passages he knew of. “Please don’t hurt the people. If they aren’t in the army they don’t have anything to do with this war.” He added. He might not lay his gaze on his people ever again but he could, at least, try to see if they would remain safe.

He felt boneless as he leaned back on the chair he was bound to. How could he face Hoseok now? He had just betrayed his whole country. He had led them into war and now he had betrayed them. He was no better than the deserters they had caught right in the beginning of the war.

Hoseok stilled his struggling, not sure what was worse, the fact that he didn’t want Sho’s father to rescue them, or the punishment he would endure if he didn’t.

He trembled slightly, his body betraying his fear. “Tougher than he looks in spirit perhaps, but the flesh is cut just as easily on anyone.”

Another scream ripped from Hoseok as he blade pierced him, no blood flowing due to the searing flesh. He shook violently, his body’s reaction to the pain. “Please…. please let us go. Just let us live in peace.” He choked back a sob, tears dripping from his nose and chin.

“Sire….” He looked at Sho, licking his chapped lips. “I don’t think I am as strong as you think I am…” He breathed out shakily.

The scent of burnt flesh was more than he could take, especially knowing that said flesh was Hoseok’s. The tears broke his heart. In a way he was causing this pain on his servant and the plea was enough to break his resolve.

With an understanding look at the younger man, the prince turned his gaze to the other king and took a deep breath. “Let us leave and I’ll tell you what you want to know.” He spoke, the defeated tone clear in his voice.

“You’re correct. We did have a spy inside the castle, but he has been disposed of. He did not know the hidden entrances, regardless.” The king frowned. “If there is one thing I admire, it is your people’s skill in hiding like cowards.”

The exchange between the two was broken by another pained shriek when a newly heated rod was pressed against Hoseok’s shoulder blades. An angry, bloody burn mark showing on his tanned skin.

“The next one won’t be a fire prod.” The king warned and a soldier turned around, brandishing a slender sword, the blade a fiery red. They wanted to hurt Hoseok whilst also keeping him alive. The heated blade would cause less damage. Less blood loss.

At being called coward, Sho began trashing again in his bonds, still trying to see if he could get himself free. He froze when the sound of pain came from the younger man. 

His gaze turned gentle when he looked at Hoseok. “Hold on, Hoseok. My father will be coming for us in no time.” He said wanting to instill hope in the younger, even if he didn’t feel it himself. 

It was amazing how his gaze could go from gentle to hard in a blink of an eye. The moment the king spoke, the prince’s gaze changed to him and then to the guard that moved to approach the fire with the sword. “He’s tougher than he looks.” He said raising his chin in a proud gesture, his regal upbringing clearly showing right then. He really was proud of Hoseok, he was the most loyal servant he had. Or more like, he was the most loyal friend he had. 

Even with his encouraging words, the knuckles on his hands were white from gripping the chair with so much force.

The other royal looked at him with a smirk and he shook his head. “You’re not fooling anyone. I’ve heard the stories. Gossip travels fast don’t you know.”

At the prince’s next outburst, Hoseok’s body tensed in fear. He was willing to stand by his word and die for his people, but having to face it potentially in moments had the young man terrified.

“It looks like your…. servant… doesn’t want to die just yet.” He continued and Hoseok shook his head as if to say that wasn’t true. He would rather die than to be responsible for Sho betraying his entire kingdom. He felt the tears start up. He had hoped against hope that he could somehow have a life with the prince, with his best friend. That was foolish and selfish. He couldn’t help but feel responsible for all of this.

“It’s all my fault.” He mumbled, behind the gag.

At those words he hated his father allover again and just confirmed that they, indeed, had a spy inside the castle. "You wouldn't have brought him with me if you weren't sure. You have someone inside the castle." He accused, still trying to get his bonds loose. "Why don't you ask them to tell you how to enter the castle? Oh wait, because they are more likely dead." He snapped at the king. 

What followed had his visage soften as he looked at Hoseok. He could understand that the young one wouldn’t want to die, just yet. He still had all of his life in front of him. He looked pained at his servant's words. "It isn't Hoseok. Don't say that." He said ignoring the other men in the room.

Hoseok lifted his head when he heard the door opened and he struggled when he saw Sho. “Mm!!!” Hoseok shouted through the bindings and he whimpered, the pain in his side flaring up as he squirmed.

He felt tears fall down his cheek as Sho was hit and he wondered if they were going to be killed or tortured or both. One of the guards stepped closer to Hoseok and his eyes widened seeing him holding a metal rod. He wasn’t stupid, he could put two and two together. The fire burning in the corner, the metal rods. One of them was about to be burned.

“Now, your highness.” It was said with a sneer. “If you want your little whore here to come out of this unscathed, you will cooperate with us and perhaps you both will escape with your lives. Now.” The guard raised the red hot metal to Hoseok’s injury, pressing the rod flat against his skin. It cauterized the wound and caused severe pain.

Hoseok’s scream echoed loudly in the room even with the cloth in his mouth and he jerked, his toes barely reaching the floor so he couldn’t move away. “Tell me how to get into the castle undetected.”

Panic began to rise inside the prince the moment he saw the red hot poker begin to inch closer and closer to his servant. As a way to not show it he traded it for rage. "He's not my whore. He's my servant!" He corrected, starting to thrash in his bondshoping they would loosen somehow. "Don't hurt him!" He demanded once more.

When the poker was made to touch the younger's man skin and his muffled cries reached the prince's ears, his efforts to get free doubled, but with no success. "Stop it! I won't tell you what you want to know. You might as well kill us right now." He said, hoping for a quick ending for the both of them and spare them hours, if not days, of suffering.

Hoseok had no idea what time or day it was. All he knew was that he was hurting. When he woke up, the first thing he noticed was that he was in an inirmary. He sat up and cried out in pain, hands hovering over his bandaged side. There was a lump of something on the table next to him that vaguely resembled one of his organs and he felt sick.

“You’re awake.” A military doctor came around the corner and Hoseok’s face paled. The uniform was not theirs. “Why am I here?” Was the first thing he asked, scooting back towards the end of the cot.

“You’re valuable to us. I’m one of the best medics around these parts so count yourself lucky. Being Prince Sho’s cock whore has its advantages even in battle it seems.” He sneered and Hoseok paled.

He looked into the mirror and saw that his red hair was no longer braided, the strands wavy as they lay loose on his head. “What’s gonna happen to me?” He said quietly.

As if on cue, the curtain was pulled back and Hoseok soon was haulted to his feet, a man on either side of him. He was taken to a room. Was he in the palace? He couldn’t be sure. His hands were shackled above his head, hung on a metal bar just high enough to become uncomfortable. His stitches pulled painfully and he had no shoes, the hard floor freezing cold.

His hair was pulled, oh that’s why they took his hair down, bringing his neck back and he was blindfolded, cloth shoved between his teeth as well. “Wake the prince.”

The moment his eyes opened, on the first time after he had been knocked out, he knew he was in a very complicated situation. He had been captured. His father wouldn't be happy with him and he would be lucky if he even came to his rescue. 

Why hadn’t he been able to hold on for another couple of days? He was sure if he had his father's reinforcements would have arrived and they would have won the war. 

It was then that his mind took him back and the image of Hoseok, in the battlefield, bloody and with a dagger stuck into him. Panic had risen in him and he had tried to get a reply from the guards whenever they came by to give him his meal, but nothing came from their lips other than mocking laughs. Sho just hoped that whomever captured him had left Hoseok on the battlefield to be taken away by his own army and was now healing and safe. 

Remembering his injury from the horse fall he looked at his arm and could see that from elbow to shoulder it was wrapped in a way to stuck it to his body so he wouldn't move it as much as possible, confirming to the prince that he had a dislocated shoulder and not a broken arm like he had feared.

The cell he was being kept in, or more likely, the room he was being kept in was extremely baren with just a bed with a very thin matress on top and a bucket on the corner. He was left all alone for several days until a pair of guards came in, pulling him out of his slumber and guiding him to another room not too far from the one he had been kept in.

As he was basically pushed in, he could see the younger man hanging from his hands in the middle of the room. "Hoseok!" He exclaimed, in a way glad to see the other. Glad to see he was still alive. He couldn’t help to step towards the other, wanting to take him out of the bar he was hagging from, but the moment he walked around the guard in front of him a hand came barreling against his stomach, taking his breath away from him and pain to surge all over him. A pained groan and the sound of him trying to catch his breath again was the only sound that came from him, before he was dragged to a chair not too far away from where they were and strapped in.

It was then that the king, his enemy, walked in. "Let Hoseok go!" Sho demamded. "He doesn't need to be here."
