After the argument with Marnie, Shane did what he did best. He drank himself into a self-depreciating stupor, and got kicked out of the bar. In the midst of a rage, a pair of footsteps approached; a calm voice just trying to help.

Angry, drunk and unreasonable, he pushed you away. He doesn't want your help. He doesn't need your help. He doesn't need anyone.

Shane doesn't know you. He doesn't want to know you. There's nothing you can do for him.

But, why does he keep thinking about you after the fact?

After her on-again-off-again relationship with Alex officially turned off again, Haley confided a couple of secrets to her sister, Emily. Sympathetic, Emily lends a listening ear as Haley tells her about a girl she met in the city at one of her photography exhibitions.

Sebastian met you in a chatroom for your favorite online video game, Journey of the Prairie King. You started your friendship by challenging each other to versus mode, and then moved on to co-op mode when you found it was more rewarding to work as a team.

Late night gaming sessions turned into video chats, and after a year of talking, you confessed your feelings for him. The cool and aloof Sebastian returned your feelings.

It was Maru's second scientific conference that she met you. You were intelligent, charismatic, and a top contributor in your field. She enjoyed your symposium, and complimented your theories in regard to celestial lifeforms.

You were both caught up in the glee of it all, and shared a passionate kiss outside of the hotel the conference was in. You didn't exchange numbers, but you did give her your work address. You've been diligent pen-pals ever since, but... Maru wants more.
